Nolan Hall
What will you guys eat today? I haven't eaten anything yet today, I don't feel hungry
Oliver King
Għaġin il-forn. I'm quite happy about it. No dinner for you today?
Dominic Walker
m8 why would you make lasagna with penne pasta?Kek
Huh maybe I will eat some kebab later, I really feel thristy but not hungry, I have days like this
Jonathan Phillips
Oh no you didn't user! That's a very popular dish here! I demand you to find a recipe and cook it.
Cooper Butler
Man I don't know, my heart tells me to not burn those poor pastas, should I?
Levi Gray
Pleeeease?
Levi Russell
Actually I've checked some recipes, and it looks tasty as fuck I just need some pastas and sauce, maybe tomorrow desu
I will post if I make it
Jacob Brooks
We mostly make it with penne too
Justin Clark
No tuna and harissa? :^)
Daniel Russell
>tfw another foreigner is going to cook a Maltese dish
Nice! Looking forward to hear about it. Show pics too pls.
Easton Adams
Of course nibba
I'm a crypto pasta nigger after the one and only, potato babe
Brandon Russell
>tfw I can smell it
Aaaa I love it. I love pasta too, it is my favourite food.
Ian Morris
Harissa in lasagne ??
We make it basically like this
Cooper Harris
Aww noice you cook it too? What do you call it? We do that dough on top of it too sometimes.
Austin Russell
>Favourite food
PUT HIM ON A STAKE, HE BETRAYED THE MALTESE POTATO GODESS
Mason Stewart
Oh no.....
>MALTESE POTATO GODESS
heh, that's funny.
Jack Foster
Tunsi nibbas put harissa everywhere, tajine, couscous, sandwiches, it's crazy
Jacob Ross
Well lasagne too heh, The italians brought it logically.
Well yeah you are right we put on many things. If we don't have the red hrissa we eat the hrissa mechouia.
Brody Hughes
I think we have it too in morocco
I like it with fish, it gives a nice kick to the flavours
Aaron Walker
But the dish I posted is not lasagnia.
Aaron Richardson
I actually met tunsia grillz in Paris, those were hardcore cuties
Easton Howard
Then what is it ?
Evan Cox
We call it Għaġin il-forn. Baked pasta. Sometimes also called timpana or mqarrun il-forn.
James Morales
Emm i think it's just lasagna without the mozzarella ?
Zachary Flores
Lads we need a pasta party
*mmh this pasta needs some oregano and dried tomatoes*
*grates gorgonzola and parmiggiano on top*
*mmmh tastes like nona had made it*
Jack Diaz
Some do add cheese to it. It looks different to me though. They do seem to share some ingredients, but it looks different.
Even the way it is prepared. The lasagna has those layers of dough right? While the timpana is a mix of ingredients added
together with macaroni. I might've found the origins here, for the one with the pastry at least. en.wikipedia.org
Wyatt Mitchell
Looks like baby food but in a cute way
I grew up eating pasta only, I hated vegetables
Ryan Clark
It might be inspired a bit by the lasagna, but when I think of lasagna, I think of a bunch of cheese which is not necessarily the case with timpana. Anyway my mother cooked it great and that's all it matters in the end.
Angel Hernandez
I hate lasagna, but that roasted macaro thingy looks fuckalicious, so I'm in
Owen Gutierrez
Not a fan of lasagna either. Please do report on it when you try it. I'll be happy to hear about it. Not sure what's the difference between baked and roasted, but it's usually labelled as baked.
Jaxon Cruz
Why haven't they legalized hash yet in Morocco? The country would enter first world in a few decades from all the revenue.
Austin Campbell
I mean roasted because it's a bit browned on top
I will report as soon as I try my first maltese dish ever desu
Isaiah Sullivan
Because it arranges some govs and political/economical schemes of important people if it stays as it is right now
Sebastian Wilson
>I mean roasted because it's a bit browned on top
Ah ok got you.
>I will report as soon as I try my first maltese dish ever desu
Nice! Looking forward to it. Since I returned, I've always been talking to the same Belgian right? I think I remember you saying there's only you on /mena/, now /maghreb/.
Gabriel Stewart

There is not much people left sadly but I think /mena/ is dead forever so I stay here, it's confy and only non faggot general
Bentley Martinez
Yeah I just wanted to know if I'm always talking to the same person. Tbh it's good that /mena/ has split. /maghreb/ is comfy like you
said while the other thing...well you know.
>maltaboo
Ok, I admit I might've baited you to say this because it's cute. Oh now I remember I was going to write both in Maltese and English here. I did
that with you once in /mena//
Nathaniel Hall

>L-aħjar nies Maltin fl-Ewropa
Napprezza, però naħseb li qiegħed tesaġera xi ftit.
I appreciate, but I think you're exaggerating a bit.
Joshua Anderson
True that, I just want to grab a confy cover and sleep in the thread
Ok might be an exaggeration but I really like med people in general, I hate western scheisse
Blake Barnes
Honestly there’s some common and similar atmosphere found in med countries, South of France feels as comfy as Southern Italy or Spain
Bentley Adams
>True that, I just want to grab a confy cover and sleep in the thread
Idea tajba. Jien kieku nagħmel l-istess.
A good idea. I'd do the same.
>Ok might be an exaggeration but I really like med people in general, I hate western scheisse
Grazzi ħafna. Jien inħossni xxurtjat li jien Mediterranju w int il-persuna favorita tiegħi fil-Belġju :)

>Be me
>Great captain of Molenbeekese fleet of Belgistan
>Decides to head to Malta and conquer the island with my 300 battle sheeps armada and 70000 armed man ready to die for my cause
>We ride the violent english channel and atlantic ocean until hitting Gibraltar and finally reaching the calm and peaceful mediterranean see, it looks like a blue carpet made out of crystal clear water
>Arriving at malta, we join best ally Maltabro and finally get on the promised island
>The battle is harsh and lots of men died but finally we were victorious
>We renamed Comino ''iġġibha'' to remind the knowledge maltabro brought up in Molenbeek
End of the story
Charles Johnson
>We renamed Comino ''iġġibha'' to remind the knowledge maltabro brought up in Molenbeek
Uhh, not sure how to feel about this. We'd have to cum in a lot of captured tourist qts to make
the name worth it.
Tyler Flores
