I say it's Aussie's.
Which is the best english accent?
>Howzit bru!
What? Where is this said?
South Africa
Agreed, Australia.
y'all and g'day mate are acceptable
There's a lot of useful (short) slangs tho. And they usually ignore useless letters
You have to be mentally ill to think the feces australians spew from their oral orifice when their vocal cords vibrate is 'good accent.'
Northeastern American, New England and those areas.
Southern American is repulsive
British is comedy and unable to be taken seriously
Australian is just shittier comedy of British
The words are usually stupid but the voice is cool.
Pacific American

IMO it's the "Transatlantic" accent that you hear in old movies. Basically American English except they pronounce the U's A's and R's correctly
just no
It'd probably be annoying to live with but it's pleasant to listen to.
That is a cool accent but where did it actually come from? And what is it about those letters that we do wrong?
>Where did it come from
It's either cultivated or acquired by people who move between Anglo regions
en.wikipedia.org
>what is it about those letters that we do wrong?
A should almost always be pronounced like ahh not like ay, eg 'data' should be dah-tah not day-ta
U's should almost always be soft, pronounced like in the word 'situation'
R's are only pronounced if they are the first letter of a word, the way you hear in the Boston accent or like JFK spoke
>best

New Zealand

You know I can't even think of a New Zealand accent. Is it similar to Australia?
No, I meant in English speaking African countries for Anglo African accents, and Anglo Indian accents refers to the English they speak in India (which is distinct from other dialects).
yes. I can't tell them apart
it's very similar, the main differences are that they pronounce the letter i like u and they the letter e like i
so fish becomes 'fush'
six becomuse 'sux'
deck becomes 'dick'
our accents are completely different, we're like
>where's the cah
and they're like
>where's the car
I've never said, "Eh?" in my life. The only person I know who did it was Jamaican.
Falkirk, Scotland, wee man.
I'm a north American, I prefer southern gentleman or Belle accents as long as they enunciate despite the drawl. I find them charming. North American just seems like regular boring speech to me. City accent, new york, new jersey, or Boston are kind of annoying. Ebonics is the worst. Spanglish I find kind of fun and sexy. British and ausie sound goofy. Slavic English is fun though.
Scottish/Gaellic
Certain Southern accents from men, English accents for women.
I hate twangy Southern accents, but the smooth kind sounds amazing
>completely different
>where's the cah
>where's the car
Newfoundland, because of one simple phrase:
LARD TUNDERIN JAYZUZ BAI
It's like the Australian accent but limited to three vowels
kek
Fuckin' hosers, the lot of you
I like Irish and Scottish the most. Ours is pretty based too.
Jamaican is the best accent to listen to
This is really the epitome of American English right here. Good southern, not the shit kind
youtu.be
Western American, except for middle to southern California. I dunno what it is but the women especially have an annoying way of speaking. Still better than Southern Americans though.
"carrot"
This, it's the ultimate form of English. Basically only taught in finishing schools to rich kids, and died out in the 60s. It's a shame because it was the ultimate combo of British and American English
Best is superlative of good, so "best" English is an oxymoron. The worst, though, is "sco'ish"
What the fuck, how come people actually like Scottish? They don't pronounce half the consonants, they sound like peasants
North Midwest doesnt belong with Caribbean
Good list
Southern Californians sounds just like Northern Californians, the only difference is slang.
Best: Australian, posh English, South African
Good: Irish, Scottish, New Zealand
Bad: all American accents, Canadian
Worst: I hate to say it because I'm not racist, but goddamn Ebonics
Oh yeah pleb English was supposed to go in bad.
Ah newfies, aka if the irish ate fish instead of potatoes
