About 35k in the bank, and 5k wasted on Bitcoin that which will probably turn into nothing within a few years. My car is worth about 5k after deducting debt on it, so my net worth is 45k I guess? I don't think that's bad for a 23 year old.

even bums can make that in an hour

$200

Only 1500€

I've got a decent job though

20k in cash
54k in standard securities investments not tethered to a tax benefited account.
14k in crowd funded peer to peer lending.
3k worth of equity with a start up I assume will fail, but they are patent trolls and will sustain the business on paper even if they fail so they can stay patent trolls, so #fingersCrossed
90k in tax benefited accounts (529, solo roth 401k, solo 401k, ira, roth ira

I started messing with money management 3 or 4 years ago at 25. I don't make much, but I spend very, very little. I think it cost me about 14k a year to live. When your hobbies are things like CNC lasing, leatherworking, and smithing its not that costly to stay entertained and I can always just make custom things for people if I need a bit of cash.

>dumpster diving

8950€, but just started saving about 15 months ago

I dont have a bank account. I just my mom's.

30 euro on my bank account.

cryptoneets are real

>21 now and will be 50-60k in debt after University in two years.
?????????????????????
I thought Euros had free college

That's nearly double the most you would normally spend on College in the USA

>IT analyst
so what is it that you'll be doing?

~$500,000

What

Attached: 1531630334401.png (700x490, 250K)

Do not fucking use it as deposit. Use it to convince your banker that you are financially responsible. At 1% your gain is negligible vs your preserved capacity to borrow again to buy student rental or secondary home.

Keep some cash mate.

at least put that much money in a safe you wanker

also you're going to get fucked if inflation ever spikes

€50 until this friday when government hands out the healthcare money

Around $7000 on my personal account and $20000 on my parents account I can freely use.

>also you're going to get fucked if inflation ever spikes
Are you kidding? Our currency is worthless, in Argentina we have to save up in dollars because our peso is literally toilet paper.

14 000 € my wage is not very high but since I have no life I can save every month.

5 usd

It's like 2 years and a half worth of savings. I can safely use it at a deposit since it would sleep on my Livret A and CCP instead. I also have a 20k€ PEA.

470 and 500 of it is food my mum left for food for me and my brother while shes overseas for 5 weeks
and centrelink was denied because i didn't do a tax return in 2016 when i was 17 making less than a thousand dollars a year in photoshop invoices

I still have to get a job. But I hope that won't be the case anymore in the future, with the crypto gamble.

I originally spend about 3000 euro on crypto, which I also pulled out again. And I only bought a couple laptops from my crypto money desu.

$262

gonna blow most of it on heroin and associated paraphernalia

This is good advice. In the Netherlands boomers use this trick to buy infinite apartments to rent out to expats. Just have 200k or something and suddenly the sky’s the limit

I made that terrible mistake one year ago, fucking jew banker I threw away 75k.

I'd rather have little money but live in an egalitarian western country.

Bad guy

Even billionaires take mortgages

No we don't have free college lmao.
I have to pay for housing, tuition fees, books, insurance etc. It comes down to like 1k a month all together so 50k isn't weird for a 4-5 year plan with a master's.

Why are westerners so poor? Shouldn't they inherit millions from their parents?

You don't get rich by giving money away.

>Why are westerners so poor? Shouldn't they inherit millions from their parents?
The average person here doesn't have savings past 1k euros so no. The only thing you inherit is the house and that most of the time is not valued very highly.

They aren't dead, for once.

>24 yo

the money is not even enough to link the card to the new PayPal account

Attached: ..jpg (720x1280, 77K)

>that 60 year old American boomer remembering the days Euros still had free college
Our tuition is €2k per year but our government until 3 years ago reimbursed the money through monthly payments and gave extra money to students living on their own and students with poor parents. Nowadays only poor students can still get this free money while everyone else has to borrow.

That said effectively our yearly costs of university is €3000 including books and such. But majority of Dutch students just life live on easymode and borrow €1k per month so they can party and live in the centres of towns such as Amsterdam, Utrecht or Groningen. It has become quite decadent

>The average person here doesn't have savings past 1k euros so no.
Umm user, the average person has 41k in 2011 on his bank account.

4800$

Attached: 1473994693103.jpg (640x640, 44K)

around 20k$

My great grandparents are still alive lol
And they are the generation before the boomers without any money. After they die there’s my boomer grandparents with 15 years or longer to live and then my parents which are like 35 years away from death.

Lies

The taxation on what your parents leave you after their death is insanely high. You lost likely have to sell the family house to pay the succession taxes.

In 2015 it was 43k.

£2,200

That's including equity like house value minus remaining mortgage isn't it?

No, that's just money and stocks.

I stand corrected

That's also the reason why the interest rate in the Netherlands is so low. The chance of a person going bankrupt is quite slim. Because we don't live on credit card debt like Americans.

0
i'm on the verge of killing myself

True, but the interest rate is low mainly because of the ECB and not our savings.

The funny thing is more than half of the pension savings within the EU are also Dutch.

It is average, not median. Of course average can be quite high if ~20% of the country has lots and lots of money
It is mainly because investors have faith in the fact our government will do anything to keep the housing prices high and in general considering all development there is no sign prices will ever plummet

You realize our fucking government used our pension savings to invest and gamble and buy themselves out? This country is a fucking joke

Have a revolution

nrc.nl/nieuws/2016/07/24/van-al-het-europese-pensioengeld-komt-60-procent-uit-nederland-3309558-a1513147

Including student loans around - £37000

Gotta love that hypotheekrenteaftrek. Tbqh we need a serious crash of the housing market, our debt is way too high for just mortgages, about 3,8 trillion.

About $1000

I think it is a miracle this place still functions so well
