1 greeks and italians are hated for their poverty and otherness, not specifically islamicism
2 muslim immigrants are not seen the same way either, there is the outward muslims and the people from islamic countries
the "hatred" is from the radical ideo-political component of the other, specifically in a post 911 world
3 there is no similar groupings for other people other than muslim immigrants, ie, asian immigrants, european immigrants, etc etc doesn't have the same transethnic rationale

Vietnamese never assimilated, nor did the Greeks or Italians really, they still predominately speak their language and turned their areas into ethnic enclaves, go to Cabramatta and see if anyone speaks English
