If russia: 1. rents out Siberia which will no longer be directly governed to international cooperations who have to build their own infrastructure and shit but are allowed to make use of the land and employ workers from all over the world while paying a part of their income to russia, while pulling out all people living there safe for some indigenous tribes so they can stock up the population in the southern siberian and european part of russia,-the russian military will still have the sole right to patrol the area if needed or set up bases- while also 2. making some places with a russian minority independent ethnostates (where the russians leave for the mainland with a compenstation like free permanent housing), as buffers and because they could be made friendly voting UNpupppets.
3.Keep terretorial control of the most important ports for future antarctic exploits like a kind of russian hanseatic league.
4.Give some east asian areas to east asian nations which may now let off population pressure and develope them under the condition they give 20% of all annual taxes they take from the gifted areas for the next 250 years or longer,(the grey one is given to both south and north korea under the condition that they are able to settle and govern it on equal terms with a government that might be a rolemodel for future unification) China will notably stay portcucked by japan but the geopolitical hillarity that will ensue will still make sure that money and infrastructure will flow there.
---- Could it grow prosperous very fast as you can take care of a concentrated, mostly homogenous population far easier while using the enormous income and trading ties to a booming far east to become as ecnomically dominant as the EU?
Or they could just stop waging war against every single neighbor they have and they dont have and actually develop their lands?

>ooga booga independent yakutia Listen, Yakitia just CAN NOT survive being independent. You may say "muh resources" but man, ALL resources of Yakutia are owned by companies from moscow. Yakutia has NOTHING to be an independent country, only of it goes full commie tier and appropriates others property. Also yakutian people can live only by tribal principles, they have a tribal ooga booga mentality except those whose parents were born in city
Kayden Perez

Also you forgot about the energy. It is very important for yakutia. If electricity stops during winter it means DEATH you know. There are two energy stations in yakutsk. One is very old (started building in 1920-s) and the other one is very knew but it is controlled by RUSSIAN FEDERAL LEVEL COMPANY "RUSGIDRO" it is stupid to think that Yakutia can be independent

But is interesting to have a far eastener here, you guy still feel neglected or is stuff getting better? Also, you have an odd assortment of chinese, russian and japanese goods to pick from in supermarkets or is it russian/local only?
Eli Long
>germans covet russian lands not this shit again
Luke Ward
Far easterner from yakutsk here. I'm ethnic russian btw and wrote these posts above. I feel ok living here, i think that far east should be part of Russia but it would be nice if we had more economical freedom. We have mostly siberian/far eastern products here. The assortment is different from mainland. There are some shops with chink food, you can find korean instant noodles and drinks in supermarkets and there are some shops with Japanese goods. Japanese goods are expensive here but i buy them at least two times a month because they bring nostalgic feelings
Jose Evans
Or you could just let Abkhazia and South Ossetia go free. You don't actually own them anyway.
Also we have close ties with Japan, Japanese officials often come here, there are a few Japanese projects here (windmills in Tiksi, all-year functioning greenhouse etc). Around a month ago Japanese officials visited Yakutsk and they said that they could help us build a tunnel under the Lena river and embrace Japanese garbage utilizing system in yakutsk. They are good guys
Asher Kelly
Imo, even though I want Yakutia to stay with Russia, it would be nice if only Yakuts would be allowed to immigrate there from now on, seeing s they're already a minority in most of their republic.
>Yakutia What are you talking about? Yakuts breed like rabbits. There was 50% of Russians in Yakutia in 1989, and 33% of Yakuts, now it's 41 and 45%.
Daniel Diaz
They are majority and there is racism against ethnic russians here. Also there is more hours of yakut language lessons than russian language lessons in schools. What about immigration, the majority of russians here are children of russians who were forced to immigrate during soviet era This guy tells truth. Most of russian families have only one child (rarely two) while yakut families have 2-4 children

Southern Siberia is entirely populated by ethnic Russians, we can't just remove them, you know.
Yakut farmers are mostly busy with cows and horses, they dont know how to cultivate crops, so they work both in winter and summer. I don't know about builders and repair workers
Isaac Morris
didn't know russia was fighting a 14 front war
Jaxson Clark
there are fucking huge blue spots in south siberia tho
Connor Watson
>i dont know about builders or repair workers Ah I see, its just strange to imagine a whole city that has to "hibernate". Do friendcircles usually include someone from another ethnic group or are people keeping to themselves in most areas of life?
I was under the impression a lot of people there die because life is so hard or leave because the infrastructure decays, while the west is improving and lacks people to the extend central asians need to fill the gaps, so building two or three planned cities in the west which take a million each (the chinese pull such stunts off afterall), or extending housing and infrastructure in not so dense regions like altai krai seemed doable if done slowly. Anyway im aware it wont happen, people got attachment and no country gives up land espeaciallly with such neighboors as the chinese. From what you hear about these postsoviet cities that were put up around a mine that lays still or dooms people to one only one source of employment by birth, you always get the impression there are whole regions in the east being miserable and only existing as a pretense to keep the territory. So thats were the thought came from, also since some russians on Jow Forums complained about immigration from asia, so segregationist thoughts seemed to be common.
Ian Myers
I'm ethnic russian and almost all my friends are yakuts. I also have one evenki friend. I have heard that yakuts hate chukchi people but I don't know if it is true or not. But interracial couples are quite rare. I have one mixed friend and he considers himself russian, also he is white nationalist because he has coplexes about being a mutt.
Ethan Howard
Yakutian news stream youtu.be/cfzx7nDGV74 You may watch it and look at average guys here. It is in both languages
Nolan Cox
I see, so while yakuts and other siberians are obviously russified to some degree so they could live in cities, but they should have retained some ways to act and be social of their own kind-are some of those rubbing off on you that you are aware of?
>he has coplexes about being a mutt. kek Sad tho, but it speaks of a good social cimate if people get along without having to mix (much) either.
Sebastian Garcia
Oh, I wasn't aware. It's too bad they are racist to Russians, but still. Look at Komi.
Most of yakuts remain their language, traditions and religion. There is a huge sun worshipping holiday which is celebrated in 20s dates of June. Also old yakut women worship spirits and always put food for them near the entrance into my commieblock. Also yakut hunters worship Bayanay — the god of hunt. It is believed that If you dont spill a glass of vodka into a camp fire you will fail during the hunt. If you disrespect the spirits very much they might kill you. Also there are bad spirits, demons — Abaasy. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aiy en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abasy

Is this accurate? >In 2016, Novosibirsk became the first oblast in Russia to ban immigrants from select nations (China, Moldova, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Turkmenistan) from working in jobs such as construction, agriculture, teaching, medicine, and professional jobs. Immigrants already working in Novosibirsk Oblast have to leave after the next three months by the time the ban takes effect in December 2016
I hope Russia doesn't fall prey to Chinese immigration.
Aiden Wilson
So russian and yakut language arent blending to some kind of city slang yet, or leaning words from one another?
>feeding the spirit of the commiblock cute!
Samuel Reed
Idk but I'm unironically afraid of china. If they integrate hk, macau and taiwan they would probably try to take russian east There is a chinatown here, and it literally smells like shit
Adrian Reed
anyone know why they have more children?
Michael Roberts
Yakut language has a huge amount of russian borrowings Koshka — kuoska Hleb — kiliep Neft — niep Bank — baank Respublika — öröspubulikke Gorod — kuorat Mashina — masyyna Tselkovyi — solkuobai Chas — chaas Shkola — oskuola Sport — spuoort Etc And even Yakutsk — Jokuuskai
What about yakut words in russian, they are only referred to specific yakutian things, like Ulus — a name for administrative regions of yakutia

Connor Thompson
It is better than in oblasts. The republic becomes more developed every year
Alexander Richardson
that we had to put our puppet into their government in 2008 when they sperged out and tried to take over ossetia bet 99% of their country still sincerely believes that we were the ones who attacked them first
Jaxon Sanchez
huh I see. So the cultural flow was rather one sided yet, I would have imagined so otherwise for young people at least, I mean if all your friends are some kind of siberian I would expect them to influence you a bit in the way you speak. You can see it with germans here who are from quarters were there are a lot of turks, they dont necessarily use turkish words, but they use germany words how turks use them if that makes sense for you.
Joshua Morgan
The more ethnically Russians ( and hachiki ) the more shithole becomes ?
Noah Thompson
I speak normal standard russian, i don't have any regional accent (like russians from russian north for example) and i don't use any local words. Many yakuts speak russian as a second language and they have stupid accent. Culture in the city is somehow mixed, maybe.
Ryan Barnes
Racism? Come the fuck on. Yakuts wouldn't hurt a fly. They are not Chinsectoids for gods sake. I cant even imagine them being racist towards anyone, they are rather apathetic with indiderent mentality towards outsiders.
They do respect Poles tho, Edward Piekarski (send there in 1888 by tsar) was the First and only man who wrote them Dictionary of their own Language. They build him a statue for that. Some even intermixed with Polish women, and some speak with pride of their polish roots.
Owen Perry
Isee and thx for answering Im off man, bye

>don’t build ncessary infrastructure in potentially brteakaway region >now if they decide to break away, they have to grab more thna just their homeland
Bravo, Soviets!
John Brooks
City yakuts aren't that racist, but yakut boomers from villages are. What about poles, there is a catholic church here, not very big. On the church territory they have a Mary statue, big cross and two monunents: one for lithuanians and second for poles who suffered here. I have visited two Masses and I can tell about ethnic comparison of our catholics: no russians, around 60% are converted yakuts, 15% are filipino women and other are polish
Jayden Ramirez
>Also yakutian people can live only by tribal principles, they have a tribal ooga booga mentality
Bedtter than Russian imperial oooga booga metality
Josiah Parker
"Boomers"? You mean old fucks who are over 70 and are prolly going to die soon? Well ok I guess I can understand their resentment seeing as they are old enought to remember early soviet period and post WW2 repressions.
And Philipino women in Yakitia? WTF?
Blake Cook
Russia hasnt been imperial for over 3 fucking decades. 68 was long ago. Move on with times pepik.
Camden Richardson
I mean almost every yakut who was born in village and is over 40 years old. And there were no regressions against yakuts during soviet times. Also the priests in catholic church are two salesian men from Slovakia.
Jeremiah Thomas
So what exactly yakuts do that is so racist against Russians?
In Poland for example we have retarded kaszubs who are kveching How they want to return Under German rule.
