Well it won't, there are tons of miserable wealthy shitheads. If you are a miserable anxious wreck now you will still be a miserable anxious wreck as a rich dude. You are poor because you are a wreck, you aren't a wreck because you are poor.

>south americans are happier than first worlders despite intense poverty
HMMMMMMMMMMMMM

This is why we need communism

there's no hapiness in finding a gf and friends if you know it's because of money

money only gives you hapiness if you weren't born as poor

that's partially true

my family makes about 50k a month and I'm still not completely happy

>Well it won't. there are tons of miserable wealthy shithead
Do you really believe that? Are you a boomer?

I noticed through my young life that the feeling to be in progress is a stronger happiness indicator than immediate wealth.

He has a bad case of affluenza.

Money doesn't guarantee happiness, but you certainly can't be happy without it.

>You are poor because you are a wreck, you aren't a wreck because you are poor.
So much this

What if I'm not happy because of shitty illness which can be fixed with 50k$/year medicine?

I would rather cry in my private jet than by happy in my shitbox

I read a study that said that money only makes you happy until certain extent, that's it being able to live by yourself and buy the shit you like, like an apartment with a decent TV and that shit, any more than that won't provide extra happiness.

This. If you're not depressed money will enhance your life in every conceivable way. Freedom is basically a function of money.

Nope but I'm not a fucking zoomer either. If you get to meet rich guys you'll meet plenty of maladjusted sadsacks who managed to stay rich anyway, and its a fact that wealthier nations have higher suicide rate than poorer ones.

lol look at this shit. You can give a sadsack anxious wreck kid all the money in the world doesn't magically make him well adjusted. Its just that well adjusted people have an easier time getting rich (and then give that money to their sadsack kids who then off themselves)

You get an overload of happiness and very high standards to be entertained i can imagine

I have an interesting and exciting career
I have a lot of money
but I don't have her

That sounds about right

Plenty of broke people do in fact experience the emotion of "happiness". I guess you can go all "no true poor" until we are just looking at absolute penniless naked starving people in the middle of the desert. Maybe they don't experience happiness, and maybe they are the only true poors. You tell me.

It can't though. Happiness is only achieved through satisfaction with what you have. Money can't buy that, it can only buy you possessions that may temporarily distract you for a bit.

money doesn't buy happiness, it buys you security.

that security allows you to find happiness.

The key is to live within your means. That's quite difficult when you're poor of course, you need a lot of discipline to make it.

My buddhist nigga

It is difficult because you have not lived with wealth, but take it from him. He is a very unhappy person having to use 2 ply. Thank goodness for his wisdom so you don't have to suffer.

Just because out of 100 rich people if 10 are unhappy doesn't mean you can just ignore the 90 that are happy because of their comfortable lifestyle.

Thank you.
What a happy future awaits me.

That's implying the source of their happiness is their money, which you don't know, it can be because they're successful, have a happy love life or whatever. It also works the other way around since when you say money = happiness you can disprove it by saying "well no, I know rich people who aren't happy", but by saying "money doesn't bring happiness" you can't prove it by saying "well, I know some people with money who are happy".

I’m very wealthy by Latvian standards (software engineer) but I’m not happy at all.
