Even without this movie, it was pretty common how commies would execute anyone who retreated. Why are commies so evil?

>retreating
only cowards do that

but isn't there a Russian saying that goes like "when we retreat, we actually advance"

that's why blatanly abadoning your position is not considered retreating here

How is this wehraboo myth not dead yet?

Wehraboos don't read books

nothing wrong with that
there must be no retreats. every soldier must fight to the death.

>anglo defending blatant cowardice

Enemy at the Gates is historically inaccurate. You probably also believe in the human wave meme.

it is on some subject, especially if you lack source criticism and isn't very knowledgeable in the field

wheraboos tend to fuel their own ignorance by "correcting" wikipedia articles

Yeah then it's different ofc
But there are mechanisms preventing bs from taking overhand in Wikipedia afaik

But such executions did take place, how's that a meme?

You forgot,
>To play devil's advocate...

>Everyone who disagrees with me is a wehraboo: the child's guide to understanding WW 2

>You probably also believe in the human wave meme
Not a meme, deep battle doctrine was essentially a Blitzkrieg that tried to exploit multiple weak points instead of focus on one single weak point

Didn't work well sometimes

the executions did take place, but it wasn't only the soviets who did it. In fact, the Soviets were late adapters and learned from the Germans. Most deserters were not shot thou, but placed in penal battalions. This is exactly the same thing that the Germans did.

The allies also punished deserters in similar ways.

true, please add that if you want to

Communists are inherently good people. Like Christians, but actually good people. Not like Christians who say they are good, but are actually double faced.

>eh we lost 20000 believe us goyim oi vey i mean untermensche

>Barrier troops, blocking units, or anti-retreat forces are troops that are placed behind the front lines during a battle in order to shoot any soldiers attempting to retreat or escape from the battle. The most often cited example of their use comes with the Red Army.

Well...

>Having a problem with Nazi recorded death tolls

You holocaust denying piece of shit, say that irl I dare you

Until you show them a bag of money.

Nazis literally are the WORST when it comes to counting casualities

I don't know a single one of them
Who are these people?

>Flag
Oh I can think of one nation that was worse in recording casualties in this war , besides that wikipedia is using mean estimates from multiple sources as it usually does

you're so fucking dumb it hurts but you're right
soviet union usually overestimated it's casualities

I love this you're like the quintessential butthurt slav
