Is faucet ready? Tried this morning

No one actually cares about testnet or wants mainnet to come, we want to meme forever holding our bags

I don't see why LINK should go above a few dollars at most. Decentralized oracles aren't really a revolutionary technology. LINK is the only player in this space but the market isn't moving with the enthusiasm you'd expect from such an allegedly important project. People can just code their own oracles. It won't be a "true" smart contract, but it will be good enough for most purposes.

Still a better use case than literally any other coin

thanks just bought 5k unironically

THIS Unironically and you all are faggots

Not really. Bitcoin, ETH and XMR have better use-cases. LINK hardly even has one, as decentralized oracles are really not necessary.

GOAT

why would a decentralized currency be useful but not a decentralized oracle? You must be joking user.

you're retarded. is this your first day in crypto?

you can still have automatically-executing smart contracts on a decentralized platform like ETH without decentralized oracles. these contracts would be less trustworthy than one where a system of decentralized oracles is used, but it would be cheaper and easier to code your own centralized oracles.

People said the same as a good for me but he was the first man who had a chance of meatballs for being an American man when the masses have no money to buy them a good he was the best and buy one a woman a little more like the god she said it would be

github.com/smartcontractkit/chainlink/blob/46d1c4800f62f17c254be551a2747cbcd7bc465c/examples/ropsten/README.md

ok then.

this faucet better hurry up

No one doubted that testnet would be completed

what we're doubting is whether or not this project even has a use case now that two dozen other oracles have popped up. Where the fuck is Sergey? What happened to SWIFT? Why isn't REQ using chainlink anymore?

idk why i sold

What the shit.

This wasn't supposed to be launched until late may until a week ago right?

Correct. Ahead of schedule, under budget

If you guys really want to see something interesting, give me a sec. I know the language used by executive and investor types. I’ll let you draw your own conclusions, but this is a dead give away because of a) which compliment rory responds to, and b) the formality and power dynamic that exists if you read between the lines.

What does this mean?

I've never been so comfy.

HNGGGGGGG

A szabo is a millionth of an ether, or equivalently a trillion wei. They're just switching to something less cumbersome than pricing everything in trillions and quadrillions of wei.

It's live now. People are creating contracts on Ropsten right now.

Thanks man.

Just blew my load

> now that two dozen other oracles have popped up
They're too late. CL is too entrenched with the right people. They would have to do years of work to catch up, unless they try to plagiarize CL's work and get in deep, deep shit over it.
And the rest of your post is just retarded rhetorical questions from a brainlet.

I dont get it, can you give me a hint?

lambo

The absolute state of Jow Forums

These are the good old days. Making memes with our Jow Forums bros. It'll be a little sad when everyone has gone off spending all their free time on their private islands, sailing around the world, fucking, taking down the puppet-masters, and conquering Space.

I hope everyone will remember where we came from and come back to Jow Forums and make some memes from time to time.

See

Thats them confirming ropsten

Yes, but to whom. That is what my posts are more aimed toward.

Anyone know who jostl is?

Oh shit my dudes.

what does this mean

Holy shit

Seems like people are testing on the testnet creating some smart contracts with chainlink

Stop. This can’t be real

You're being disingenuous here. Everywhere from spain to poland is on UTC+2

Attached: europe-time-zone-map.gif (600x632, 40K)

What does under budget even mean? They are writing computer code. You pay a couple salaries. Where did the rest of the 30 million go?

It’s real. I’m not saying it’s AssBlaster, but it’s a bigwig in Europe. Hence why I pointed out the language and power dynamic.

this. jostl is someone who has been making sure deadlines have been met. do you really think they tried to randomly set a "deadline" today for no reason after not having deadlines for months?

Its not only about that tho, we are grasping for straws but the other clue is how formally he responded

Attached: SmartSelect_20180505-033326_Chrome.jpg (1436x2278, 449K)

Thank you, EXACTLY this.

semen, pajeet. semen.

Beat me to it

it's like all you faggots grew up in the orphanage reading too much nancy drew and fancy yourselves junior detectives.

Good point. Wrap it up guys. Mass suicide tomorrow

Go to sleep, rory

check em

Haha Rory we're on to you!

how do you know he wasn't LARPing?

btw, I was kicked from the slack months ago but was literally one of the first people to join (pre-sale ICO). I vaguely remember the name jostl

the exchange between them makes it clear that jostl is very likely some fat cat exec or investor

someone get @Creatine on the line

Attached: rgNs0Zz.gif (540x226, 1.82M)

On that note, goodnight kek & frens

Attached: 1524929461156.png (400x350, 80K)

Here is the only other viewable message he's sent

Kinda kills the mood

>jostl
>Joostl

Chainlink confirmed for confidoing, get the fuck out now Sergey is Joost

so it is nothing? he is not an insider? you are prob jostl now that think about it.

Can I have maymay fren?

We formally reject jostle.
Bring in the next larper.

Attached: chainlink universe.png (2560x1580, 3.94M)

lol. this person is def a suit

poor fag 2k links I'll never make it..

>a supposed insider/CEO asking useless questions like this
>JOOST fuck my shit up

but seriously guys. I have the memory of an elephant. This guy used to post all the time in 2017. You can't search it because slack deletes old messages

all he's asking is how long daniel kochis had been on the team. this is all just speculation of course but nothing about his response suggests that he isn't someone important

what did he said

Sergey may not always be there when you want him... but he'll always be there when you need him.

Attached: Ih8h933jndodowi.jpg (902x670, 149K)

do you remember him striking you as a suit?

>You can't search it because slack deletes old messages
I can vouch for this, just checked. For some reason you can see old attachments, though

no. I am a burger and his linguistics were strange. Very likely dutch. But nothing striking as far as business association goes. He was in pre-sale IIRC, asking the same concerned questions as the rest of us

i found all this very striking too. my autism was triggered when i saw his comment in slack. all joking aside i dont think this is a larp.

I want to believe but why would be a suit working this late

Not a suit, just a NEET like all of us.

do you seriously have to ask this? this isn't some 9-5 office drone

Its obvious by the way he speaks. Its probably someone from swift checking to see if everything is being done on time.

Trips get 1 BTC

They've had deadlines before. Namely in february during the BTC superconference Sergey said they had set themselves that date as the date they'd like to release the node alpha and they did.
Also we didn't have access to something like pivotal tracker before. They must've had deadlines only they were internal. Now we can see everything they put in there.

trips confirm
