It's at 240 gwei on hotbit atm with around $2.5m volume in btc and eth, so not sure if it will actually drop when idex comes back

Pretty much, seen this before. Big exchange goes down, price pumps on small exchange (also due to a deposit bonus they're giving out), then big exchange comes back - which do you think will control the price? Obviously the big one. Everyone moves to that and dumps HARD.
