If there is ever any sort of send/receive error with Monero you're just fucked given the nature of how Monero works. With other coins where you can see the public ledger and all transaction history exchanges can refund you, issue charge backs etc. This isn't possible with Monero. Its literally for buying cocaine and not much else.
