Why don't you open a bank account in the UK and then use a banking app on your phone to deposit it?

welcome to french bureaucracy

let me tell you, personally i have been trying to get my grandparent's house for 6 years now, since they died 6 years ago
the ownership is split something 50% for me, and then the rest of the family, which i need to contact to seal the deal and either sell or own all of it
in that family there is 1 part who hates me and doesn't want to do anything, i never met them, i think they are butthurt to be illegitimate children
another one is in prison because he killed a man, it's a pain in the ass to contact him
another one is under 18yo and for YEARS they told me "we can't give you his address sorry" until a lawyer told me i have to specifically ask for his legal responsible, otherwise the notarial office will drag the case forever on purpose

they always take months to answer and usually it's like "gimme more $$ fuck you"

anyways my lawyers disappeared, TWICE, without leaving an adress
maybe they are dead, maybe they have left the country, nobody know
i had to pay them 2000 euros each and they have not helped my case at all, 4000 euros in the wind, and good luck sueing a lawyer, and good luck sueing a fucking lawyer who disappeared
last i saw a lawyer he told me "yeah ok we're gonna directly go to the court an force sell everything" except he disappared first

now the co-property syndicate is sueing me, because apparently i have charges to pay, it was already 6000 euros but now it is 8000 euros + the trial + i need a new lawyer

my lawyer also told me that i was actually able to rent, but the notary told me no you can't, meaning i also lost about 500euro/month times 6 years

i had to go to the notary yesterday 8am to get my files back, and they told me "nope, notary 1 is on holidays and notary 2 is sick and notary 3 is sick too" so i have to go back today actually at 5pm to meet the notary assistant who will probably try to fuck me over and i bet will have a convenient excuse to not give me the full things i need

reee

>another one is under 18yo and for YEARS they told me "we can't give you his address sorry" until a lawyer told me i have to specifically ask for his legal responsible, otherwise the notarial office will drag the case forever on purpose
(which isn't even true btw, ofc i asked already, but they refused to tell me until it was my lawyer himself who personally asked)

I literally opened a bank account the first month I arrived in France your French and English must be shit

You have the right to own a bank account in France. If banks are refusing you, contact the Bank of France which will direct you to one and force it to open you an account.

>>bank 1: no foreigners
wtf i love france now

I heard being a notary is a somewhat important job over there. Is that true because here anyone can do it after paying $85 and taking an online course

je vais voir ça, merci du conseil

Cela, Tyrone le sait evidement pas. Ou bien il bosse au noir!

A lawyer told me that it's good because basically the state assigns them to a district and then they have a monopoly in there ? Idk how true that is but this is what i was told

Bon courage.

It is a public office, which means they have a monopoly on numerous legal acts and their signatures have some kind of special value in front of course in case they'd enforce a contract for instance.

>basically the state assigns them to a district and then they have a monopoly in there ?
It seems what I was told is true then. It's a government mandated job that requires exams and going to university for. Just to sign papers during a 35 hour work week, truly something I can't fathom since every lawyer, banker, and public servant anywhere can do it

???

This sounds so fucking retarded.

What shitty company is this that still writes checks?

Even back in 1987, I could open a bank a/c w/o problems, and I am Swiss. Companies in France pay the wage via MT. The most used software for payroll is Ciel. Yes, you can use the cheque book at Felix Potain but the wage definitely goes to yr bank a/c.

>britshit being retarded
>britshit being scammed
Classic

>yeah ok we're gonna directly go to the court

The story is entertaining but total BS.

>be Anglo
>expect to be treated nicely in France

Attached: Verwundertes Animemädchen.png (186x180, 25K)

i don't see the point of lying about this, i didn't do any law studies and i don't know much about all this
maybe it wasn't "the court" and it was some subdivision of some judicial system who the fuck knows but this is pretty much what i gathered from it

This. Why not stay in your own fucking country?

>government engages in scamming

>implying scamming Brits is bad

It's just a bit of friendly banter.

I really don't get it
>France forces me to open an account if I want to cash my checks
>Won't force banks to open accounts regardless of stupid fucking requirements

I gave you the link to exercise your right to a bank account. Check upper. If you can't read French (I didn't look if there's an English version of the site), seek for help and I'll explain how to exercise it.

>banks
>government

I don't think your lawyer would've fill a lawsuit against your co-owner. Property is at the core of our legal system, so I don't see how one could force them to sell. But I'll do my research and let you know later on /fr/ if I find anything.

Yes, I'll give it a look. Thanks m8

Sorry, but if you only TRY to speak French (it doesn't have to be perfect), the real French are the nicest people on the mainland.

Yep!

Je m'appelle Chad.
