Post the comfiest cities you've ever been in during wintertime. For me, Montreal during my undergrad degree was a magical place for winter. Because the winter is so severe people can't just put their lives on hold and stay indoors, the cities is just as lively during the winter and it makes it super comfy. In terms of parking/side walks the montrealers complain but they handle snow very well and in an extremely timely manor. Nothing beats the smell of fresh cold and relaxing at a nice bar while there is a comfy snow storm outside.

Get a set of snow tires, expensive up front but if you only drive on them half the year they will last. If you're not already using them its like the difference between night and day. Also a huge reason that MTL was not a huge deal with the snow was that snow removal in MTL was a 24/7 military like operation starting from November to April. It was fucking serious. They handled shit.
