I said technically superior. But since you seem stupid I'll explain you why the PS1 was more successful.

The reason it barely had any games was because the CD support of the PlayStation made it cheaper to develop for.
The PlayStation also sold way more because of the huge marketing Sony did, making it even less interesting for third parties to develop on the N64.

So again, the N64 was the technically superior console.

And if you want to talk about games, the N64 have proportionally much better games than the PS1 with all of its shovelware.
And if you want to talk only about the good games, N64 has the best ones except for two genres : RPGs and Fighting games
