I only know about Chingquong due to a few threads on Jow Forums, and it's a pretty unreal city. Gigantic population, a huge range of landscapes (located in a mountainous area), cyberpunk tier CBD areas with towering walls of buildings, etc. Absolutely nothing like anything in Australia.
Suzhou is a city an old friend of mine studied at, in an international high school. He spent a couple of years working over there after that. A lot of out of this world anecdotes and some pretty damn cool photos over the years.
Chengdu is the capital of Sichuan, which I spent a decent bit of time looking up in the past as well as seeing a bunch of videos/documentaries about. It was a period in the past when I was into cooking and experimented a bunch with Chinese and Japanese recipes, with Sichuan being the prefix of chicken, beef and pork dishes in cheap Chinese restaurants all around the world. The city itself is fairly inland and they are obsessed with spices and chilies, kind of like how Mexicans use a lot of different chilies in their cooking.

Won't lie, that was pretty fucking cool. The funny looking building at 1:08 uses water from the river to flow around the building for cooling instead of expensive and polluting air-con. Watched a clip about it on Youtube but can't seem to find it, from memory it was designed by a team of Chinese and German (or possibly Dutch) engineers.
It looks like they have something similar in another part of the city limits.

Maybe the people above were involved with the building I was talking about, maybe not.
