The Republicans will not move to impeach him. There could be ironclad proof and they wouldn't do it. They'd grumble to the media but that's it. So nothing will move on this front until January 3rd.
If Dems win the House it is almost certain they will move to impeach him. Even if the investigation stalls out right here they will probably move ahead with it. Their base demands it. If that happens it'll be the match dropped on the powderkeg that is the current American culture war. Things will get really nasty. I do not believe Democrats have fully thought through what impeaching Trump will mean and what state it will leave the country in.
I am leaving in October, hopefully permanently, so whatever as this thing doesn't spread across the oceans I dont care. But I'm just telling you like it is without letting my personal bias into it. It will tear the entire country in two.
