BRICS might have made sense in the 1990s but nowadays these countries have little in common with each other. Totally different political and economic systems, social issues, location, climate, everything. I can understand this bloc exists as the opposition to the global domination of the USA yet still it doesn't seem reasonable as these countries have a different stance on this matter too, India, SA and Brazil are mostly pro-American, Russia and China are anti-American. What do they even discuss there?
