>good baguette
>not in France
Choose one and one only
why don't you show me
Baguettes are good with butter and wrapped in aluminium foil and grilled.
Sounds like a sex act
Why is French food so unhealthy?
*scratches your palate*
what is baget
>mashed potatoes with cheese
Looks and sounds gross. I think I'm fine with never tasting that.
>bread by a non-french person having any right to be called a baguette
Uh no sweaty.
baguette is shit
any white bread is shit compared to a good whole grain bread
>baguettes
>good
I love Italy
god bless you and your people
...
>baguette
you can get one from greggs mate they're not that special
It's high in saturated fat. But we walk a lot so we don't get fat
What is healthy, rotten fish?
Italy > France
Sweden > Finland
>>Foreigners will never know the feeling of eating the end of a good baguette, still hot from the baker's oven
But France is completely overrun by foreigners, what are you talking about?
good point
sure
now stop comparing us as if there's a rivalry between our two countries
>eating bread
f*toids
whole grain bread is actually good in moderation, desu senpai
Go back to Jow Forums Chang
stop!
Baguette and most breads popular in Southern-Europe are 0 grain pure white bread it seems.
>aluminium
non-American detected
its very hot these days you cant blame us
Go back to Africa, Mbembe.
I'm not african
But I know you're the mentally ill chinknadian from Jow Forums
Read today by a German master baker that he's never, not even in France, eaten better baguette than in Japan.
>mfw slathering chunky peanut butter on top of a freshly baked baguette
Is that you?
youtu.be
I've done that with other toppings. It's perfectly okay.
I wish. That guy is based and redpilled.
actually before the world wars it was more common for the bread to be brown, since it was more filling. White flour became popular between the 2 wws since it can be conserved for longer. Nowadays there isn't a bakery that hasn't got brown bread. Today I ate some with walnuts inside, it was pure bliss.
>that sneaky portugal flag on the sandnigger
It's ok, you can keep your phallic bread.
I kind of wish I was born in a French speaking household so that I could appreciate Jacques Brel.
This actually looks terrible. Has malta ever done anything right besides being the biggest floating turd in the Mediterranean? No offense intended just wondering
based post
Isn't France one of Europe's fatter countries though?
based
not really
It is actually. Delicious too.
Not at all, we're among the slimmest.
I didn't know the nips even liked bread.
don't talk to me or my daughter ever again
fuck off you cringelord
your country is a turd too
still butthurt about losing Malta, Aziz?
It's not like it's some secret technique. I've got bakery right in 4 minutes from my home.
my parents only bought whole grain bread or bread with bran. i grew up hating bread. now i am thankful to them that im not a slave to the carb jew
Corsica being French must hurt your feelings deep inside
I've been to France so I've eaten your (truly excellent) baguette, but why could someone not make the same thing elsewhere? New Orleans has a bread that they claim can't be made right elsewhere and I've never gotten that either. Memes aside, naturally.
Different yeast in the air. Like how you can't make true sourdough bread outside of San Francisco.
not as much as France being muslim :(
no one cares about corsica irl
Is that an euphemism for eating shiy
I'm pretty sure that you can bake good baguette (or cook anything) anywhere, but experimentally, all the baguettes I tried abroad were shit. It's probably due to lack of traditions. There's also laws which regulate what can be called "baguette" and "baguette tradition" in France.
Looks like someone's mad. Did the baguette snap while fucking yourself with it?
It's just goo with a sausage on top
lol one sardinia is more than enough, believe me.
I almost forgot, thank you mommy.
>Why is French food so unhealthy?
It's not really. It's typically calorie-dense, but the French diet includes a lot of vegetables and smaller portions, in general.
The French also place higher value on "properly farmed" foods and natural ingredients.
Their lifestyle also encourages proper exercise and eating habits.
If you ate French food like an American, you'd last 10 minutes before a massive coronary killed you.
>smaller portions
This is the one thing about Europe I just can't get behind. I love their food but my big American ass wants a big American serving.
I agree. When I first came here, I was shocked at how much food they give you in restaurants.
This was before I realized that getting left-overs wrapped up to take home is not considered embarrassing.
Where did you come from?
I didn't know taking out leftovers wasn't a thing in Europe but it makes sense now that you tell me.
Germany.
It's not that it's not done at all. A restaurant will wrap up your left-overs if you ask, but it's just gauche.
I suppose the equivalent here would be not tipping. Not a crime, but embarassingly tacky.
