I actually wish we used adjusted Latin alphabet. All "muh cyrrilic" hurt durr aside, Cyrrilic isn't really needed and using Latin would make many things simpler.
Just add ж, щ, ш, ь as extensions (similar to German ß which is optional to use) for the East European languages and problems weren't. Ь would be the only needed letter to add.
At one point Soviets wanted to do that and during initial creating of writing for Kazakhs and such they used Latin and even wanted to do it with Russian till Stalin came and gulaged them.

In Serbia we use both Cyrillic and Latin. And our versions of both alphabets are more appropriate for any Slavic language than the shit poles, Russians and others use. Almost entirely phonetic. Write as you speak, read as it is written. One symbol, letter, for one sound.

Cause main difference from greek alphabet is these letters, they are not like one and rare-used(or not so rare) german ß.
