also it's not like immigration was an easy ride for early America either, there were all sorts of tensions (and there still are, though it's mostly caused by race now)

There are issues that need to be addressed if it should work in the future. But right now it seems to work all in all. Don't get your news just from websites like Breitbart. Visiting in a normal multicultural borough might help to (i.e. not the worst ghetto in your country).

1) it takes decades of slow immigration and assimilation into the host culture
2) you need educated immigrants willing to work hard and adopt say american values
3) islam isnt compatible with western value systems and refugees (europes immigrants) are never gonna convert

europe has mass immigration and low quality uneducated immigration unlike murica. Europe is also a welfare system unlike based murican dream (you get what you work for)

America is an exception, not the rule.
