a friend of mine (who's Japanese) needs someone who can speak German/English (and I still have Portuguese on top of that so...) for his hostel, I'm to be a manager of sort (but I'll also be on cleaning/cooking duty depending on days).

He said I have to work something like 10-12 hours a day and may have to clock in during weekends and national holidays too.

I don't care much because he'll pay for japanese language classes at a school too so that's fine. It's in Tokyo btw. salary is mediocre for tokyo (305k yen p/month) but it should be more than enough for me.

Nah. I had friends who worked and lived there for a while.
They all said the same thing, it's great country, safe, clean, organized, beautiful, but if you wanna making a living there "você vai ter que ralar muito" haha.
The problem is that a lot of brazilians go there without knowing the japanese language or anyone over there, expecting to make some easy quick bucks and come to Brazil. They all get disapointed when things don't go as easily as they expected.
