What are Spain and Portugal doing?

Apparently Italy is closed for sea immigrants now and so seems to be France. Governments all over Europe are risking being toppled over the immigration issue.

It seems incredibly bizarre to see Spain and Portugal demanding "more give us more" under these circumstances. Are they getting money from the German NGO's and it's too tempting to refuse it? What is the reaction of your general public to it? Are the coast cities under considerable stress?

we need cheap workers and Mr Sanchez is doing it for us

Spain is empty and has a lot of space

Aren't the people getting angry like in Greece and Italy?

nah, why?, we have to help our african bros.

We put them in emmigrant jail for around two months. These jails are mainly in big cities (Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, etc). After that time, 50% are sent back to their countries 50% are set free.

They rescuing more or less the same number as other years, but actually increasing the return rate.

Many people is starting to get angry, but there are not any relevant anti-mass migration party. There's one called Vox that is starting to rise, but I don't know if it will make it. Anyway, there are too many cucks like the first user that replied you so we are doomed.

Portugal doesn't have a Mediterranean coast. Boat refugees don't come here at all.
We've taken in 150 or so Syrians, most of them don't want to settle here because we're poor kek

Aha. Well that's fine. Hope Spain's government falls in line with the rest and says sorry we're full to the slave boats. I wonder why France isn't taking the boats?

>sorry we're full
more like "sorry we're poor"

Sanchez knows that, to have a minimum possibility to govern he must have the backup form the left side of the political spectrum. Podemos has quite a problem with its leader, so he hopes to weaken them in order to draw left voters to him. His government will fall soon.

Portugal has a left government that does it (still) for ideological purposes. They are also heavily catholic. So I would say, they do not do them a favor. But for their voters on the short run it might be appealing.

All the refugees that came here went to Germany.

do not use the word refugee, as they are not. These people have no political issues. They go for the gold. So they take away to the real persecuted people any chance for survival. So call them migrants, tourists, job seeker, fortune cowboys. What ever. But refugees? Please!

so you're saying it's mostly just for looks? If 50% get sent back, what about the other 50% that stays?

Spain is doomed, after Franco died the cryptocommunists started brainwashing the population and now it's full of leftists cucks and feminists.

>They are also heavily catholic.
This is a very common misconception about Portugal's religiousness.

Everyone here identifies as catholic, but nobody goes to church (same as everywhere, I guess).

Portugal is very socially pragmatic: gays and blacks are okay, so long as they behave and don't bother anyone or demand extra attention: an effeminate and flamboyant heterossexual is treated worse than a discrete homo. This includes being able to give/take jokes about it.

It's why we have the drug decriminalisation and the abortion right out of the gate and not that many junkies/abortions anymore. We let them do it if it takes less work from us and we don't have to look at them. We're pragmatic and usually choose the path of most pragmatism.

We're not US-tier or even Irish-tier ultra-catholics.

I did not know they changed abortion laws. When did that happen?

They probably don't give a shit because they think all the illegals will try to move to Germany.

10 years ago or something? We still barely have any abortions because of social pressure and a catholic value mindset, but we still have the option for the occasional slip-up.

It's up to the person to decide and everyone else to judge, but not for the state to forbid.

No we love our african brothers and we will take them all in. In the generations we will be Brasil.

As long as they do not fake it like in Italy where first the "azione catolica" does write in medical fac, then does specialty of gyne and finally .... pushes with all might into the abortion service....just to declare "obbiezione di coscienza". Real bastardy.
