Do you visit the general that corresponds with your country? Why (not)? What other generals do you visit? Are they related to language or culture learning?
Do you visit the general that corresponds with your country? Why (not)? What other generals do you visit...
i don't go on /deutsch/ because they never talk about anything
it's literally bus-station tier small talk for the entire thread
generals are cancer
this
No, generals are for fag, literally.
> generals
Int purge fucking when?
Sverigetråden is full of literal nazis and homophobes
>What other generals do you visit?
Mämmi and Norgetråden, but I think they don't like Swedes that much so it's awkward
So do we need more like /djt/ but oriented to the other languages? Like, thread per language not regions.
mine is a bunch of animeposting faggots, thank god for based lachlan driving them off the board
Yeah, I wish that instead of having Sverigetråden, Norgetråden etc, we'd just have /skandi/
sometimes yes, there are some (few) good people in it
Sometimes l join the shitposting sudamerican autists on /lat/.
I never go to /cum/ threads.
fuck no, general threads are cancer
I think general are not a bad thing for Jow Forums, but Jow Forums hasn't had the proper generals.
It's cancer
You guys have been complaining for years, it's not gonna happen, deal with it.
It's easier for you because you're native English speakers. You don't know how nice it is to be able to talk in your native tongue for once
It's alri
I think /fr/ is the best general on Jow Forums
could be better if the Jow Forumstards weren't so bitter
Still they're part of our political spectrum so we've got to deal with them. But I agree they're poisonous.
This.
What's the closest language to Maltese? Arabic? I'm guessing you're out of luck when it comes to generals
I only go there to post umaru
My chances of understanding it are at their highest when it's a Tunisian writing.
Where do you usually post?
I usually stay off /fr/ because it's filled with normalfriends talking about politics or gf.
I do browse /it/ occasionally because they post anime.
I used to post in /mena/ some time ago but some hated me for posting in Maltese.
Now when they recently split, I was posting in /maghreb/ and they didn't seem to mind
me posting in Maltese but that general was dead. Now that they joined up back I'm
posting in no particular general.
Based
We used to have /slo/ a few summers ago, it was quite fun. That was one of the few instances when summer made things better. Apart from that, I guess /slav/ was kinda our general as well but that one was also mostly a thing a few summers ago. We went through a few threads this year but it wasn't very alive. Both usually ended up being discussions about linguistics so it was fun.
No, it's just one guy talking to himself while posting anime reaction pictures
> Do you visit the general that corresponds with your country?
once in a while
> Why (not)?
they are like spiteful kids, they think being edgy on the internet and spamming anime pictures is funny. no one is friendly. they act like gays because people don't like it so they think is funny to roleplay. some faggots use different ip to evade ban and shitpost like autists.
> What other generals do you visit?
I don't participate so I just read some, nothing in particular.
> Are they related to language or culture learning?
our general? ahahaha absolutely not, it's only shitposting and "bantering" but if someone has trouble with Italian people will help
/ro/ used to exist
we aren't necessarily the most welcomed posters on /balk/
I used to be big on lat back in 2013 and 2014, then as it became more taringa-ish i stopped frequenting
I visit /ibe/ or /esp/ generals on the raro ocasion they are made but those always end up filled with latinamericans and chicanos so it really isnt that much different from lat
I lurk a lot on /ita/ to improve my italian, its their fault i actually like Umaru now but 2014 /ita/ was comfier, nowadays its too passive-aggressive
Have visited other generals on ocasion but thats it
/lat/ is literally a bunch of teenagers who come from the argie equivalent of reddit
>I lurk a lot on /ita/ to improve my italian
Be mindful that like half of the posts are written by a guy who makes a lot of horrible grammar mistakes
>Do you visit the general that corresponds with your country? Why (not)?
No, because not a single Italian poster in the general belongs on Jow Forums.
They're just subhuman refugees from now-dead Italian knock-offs, it's like talking with stunted teenagers, only they're all reaching in on 30yo.
They're completely clueless about any kind of board culture or basic internet knowledge, they're clearly people that only visit the general because they don't belong anywhere else on the English internet.
It's a trait you can see in the stark majority of Italians online. Tribals with minds as small as the provinces they live in.
>What other generals do you visit? Are they related to language or culture learning?
The Japanese one, to discuss the finer points of anime with the natives.
No it's literally 15 year old Brazillians telling gay jokes about each other
No because it's boring as all hell and there's no funposting
The only general I regularly use is the Jap one, for language purposes.
Not on Jow Forums, but I post in /britfeel/ on Jow Forums.
I sometimes post in other countries generals because I want to be the only British person there, but in general I avoid anglophone generals
Apparently /deutsch/ has found some kind of German equivalent of Chris-chan and 50%+ of every /deutsch/ thread is always a discussion of that fat manchilds life and posting picture of his run down house and his autistic behavior and trying to make memes out of it, it's really unbearably stupid and boring.
>as an example, have question about Norway
>go into thread to ask question or see what it's like
>no images, no fun, no soul, just a bunch of hjöllënbœrgên gibberish I can't understand
