Persians and Afghans

Did you know Persians and Afghans speak the same language and are genetically identical?

So why are Persians doing nuclear research and Afghans doing ... whatever they do in Afghanistan?

Have you not followed what the fuck has happened in that region in the last 100 years?

my ancestors :)

Iranians are based Shi'ites (blessed by Allah), whereas Afghanis are sunni dogs.

>speak the same language and are genetically identical
You're confusing Afghanistan with Tajikistan. I researched Afghanistan for a school project a couple of years ago, and there are countless ethnic groups, with Pashtuns (aka Pakistanis) being the major one

my ancestors :)

No they dont, afghans speak pashto and iran speaks farsi

>Did you know Persians and Afghans speak the same language and are genetically identical?
Terms like Afghan and persian are politicized in the grand scheme of British and Russian (later Soviet) influence in central asia dating back to the Great Game when Russia and Britain expanded in central asia to either provide buffer or get closer to India (the crown jewel and most valuable colony of anyone in the world).
Iran is not an ethnostate, it has non-iranic peoples like azeris (turkic) and arabs in the gulf. It also has a myriad of Iranic ethnicities like Kurds and Balochs (hate Iran want independence). Balochs speak an iranic language and are present in southwest Afghanistan, Southwest pakistan and Southeast iran.
Pashtuns (pakhtuns, pashto etc.) speak an iranic language and are a very distinct ethnic group, they don't call themselves Persians like Farsi speakers do and are majority sunni. Pashtuns are split between Afghanistan and Pakistan with tensions between the two over the porous border and pashtun nationalism. Many Afghans who are Pashtun would rather see a nation called pashtunistan than Afghanistan. As you can see in this map, Farsi (Iran), Hazaragi (Afghanistan) and Tajik (Tajikistan) are all the same color. These three peoples really speak the same language, but soviets and pashto efforts to separate them from iran resulted in many academics classifying them separately and discrimination from Pashtuns in Afghanistan.
Persians (iran) are doing nuclear research to expand their power and influence in the Middle East, the modern Iranian state runs off of Islamic nationalism, specifically Shiite. Afghans are a diverse peoples with diverse interests (Secession, Islamic rule, Ethnonationalist rule, Expansionism) however there is much overlap between Iran and Afghanistan due to this web of ethnicities and rivalries.

>are genetically identical
not even remotely true, a majority of afghans are mongols or half mongols/half persians

have you ever considered reading a fucking history book instead of spamming whatever retarded shit pops into your head on Jow Forums

The official language in Afghanistan is Dari, the official language in Iran is Farsi. Farsi is modern Persian, while Dari is also modern Persian but it's a bit older and "classical" than Farsi. I think the official language in Tajkistan is Farsi. Anyone who speaks Dari will be able to understand Farsi without any problems, same goes for vice versa.

>dari
Its pashto, dari is spoken by hazaras who are a minority

Afghanistan is a multilingual country in which two languages – Pashto and Dari – are both official and most widely spoken. Dari is the official name of the Persian language in Afghanistan. It is often referred to as the Afghan Persian. Both Pashto and Persian are Indo-European languages from the Iranian languages sub-family.

not only hazara, imbecile pakistan scum

>t. tajik afghan leech in Germany

You're both right and wrong.

50-60% of iran is persian. 25-30% of afghanistan is tajik which is a synonym for persian.

>50-60% of iran is persian. 25-30% of afghanistan is tajik which is a synonym for persian.
This sounds about right

Yep. 40% of afghanistan is pashtun, which is not persian but a group related to them - both persian and pashtun are an iranic/iranian group. 25-30% of afghanistan is tajik which is basically another word for persian. The rest of afghanistan is an assortment of asiatic groups such as the uzbeks, hazaras, turkmen and so on - with an even smaller percentage being smaller groups like the kalash, balochis and whatever else.

>not even remotely true, a majority of afghans are mongols or half mongols/half persians
only hazaras, uzbeks and turkmen look asian lol

The average afghan tajik or pashtun looks like this

They look Iranian.

you called`?

they're pashtuns and tajiks from afghanistan, manlet in the first pic is even my cousin kek

hamraye gokhore pakistani gap nazan

we look similar to them, there's a lot of overlap but a trained eye can tell the difference usually, iranians usually have an arab/indian/turkish vibe to them depending on which part of the country they're from, the ones in the north west look kind of like turks whereas the ones in the south look kind of like pakistanis

Us Afghans are handsome, masculine and alpha. Iranians are sissy faggots who like science and intellectual activities.
