I'm still holding through it no matter what happens im never selling
Give it to me straight, how bad is it gonna get if we get bad results tmrw?
75% flash crash, no memeing. If Ether is declared a security it's fucking over. NEO and VEN will certainly be declared securities.
so crypto will die for good?
I think we will get good results friend.
But if not, we can hold each other through the JUSTing. Unironically 50% JUSTing for ETH and a 90% JUSTing for most ERC20s.
Are you retarded? Sell now and buy back in later. Did you not learn anything from the hodl memes of December?
wat if sec sez bitcon has brian tumer n cant operate wat then
it might even be good if we get bad results. isnt big money waiting for more regulation for a more stable market? i expect a dip at first but then more growth long term if we get "bad results"
but im a low iq late adopter brainlet thats barely looked into this and i almost always lose when i daytrade so im not the guy to ask
countries that legislate against crypto are going to get left behind
Check out this slut
No it isn't good. ETH right now is considered to be a commodity, a good result cements this and we can move forward. A security classification basically moves us the opposite direction. If it was the security price will dump and entry doors for burgers will start being welded.
she looks like a loyal, traditional girl who aims to be a good wife and mother. is she single.
yeah, entry doors to peasants like us will be welded, but a single whale is worth thousands of peasants. and big money people are used to jumping through hoops and filling out forms or whatever it is they do with their elaborate money games and convoluted mumbo jumbo. and they might like eth more for long term investment if theres more regulation right?
iow busty teeth cleaner seeks rich benefactor
Maybe the hottest woman I've seen on bumble thus far...maybe I have weird taste
but whatever happens we can still buy and sell this shit on an exchange right? are the taxes different or something? what difference does it make. doors welded shut what does that mean. they will make it harder to buy eth? how? why?
to many crappy coins and ICO's killed it we only need bitcoin as it originally was so BCH will be it.
Whales don't need it to be a security to buy, this doesn't make it any more appetizing or anything, clarification will be welcomed but we still want the good result.
it means it would be delisted from places like cuckbase
ETH being classified a security means instant de-listing from Coinbase, Gemini, et al. Any "legit" US exchange that attempts to be legally legitimate will kill it ASAP in the ultimate justing.
Then you can go buy ETH for BTC on Binance or something at an absolutely ridiculous discount the next day.
>ETH being classified a security means instant de-listing from Coinbase, Gemini, et al
No, it means they go to court.
what happens to erc20 tokens if ETH is declared a security?
No way. Trading gets suspended as quickly as possible, as those exchanges would be "knowingly liable" for acting as a broker of unregistered securities, and thus vulnerable to huge legal action. Cuckbase et al will run like children from the big throbbing dick of the SEC once even an iota of information suggesting the SEC thinks it's a security becomes materially public.
Why are these scumbags doing this in the name of protecting people?
They aren't protecting shit, except for big wall street types.
Everyone in here is retarded.
The original news source, the WSJ, didn't even cite who said that the declaration would be May 7th.
Check the SEC site, there's not even an upcoming meeting planned to discuss this.
I thought everyone figured this out yesterday desu
>implying the majority of Jow Forums aren't brainlets
People with any money to stake want protection, without it all you get is the brainlets and pajeets
so there's no SEC meeting tomorrow?
Are you trolling?
Why do you think no one's mentioned what time it's taking place?
At least not listed as a public meeting.
May 10th is a possibility under the regional forum but based on the attendees and the agenda here:
enforcementforum.com
Doesn't seem to be anything definitive on classification of cryptocurrencies.
Thats for Supply chain tokens
According to this we have nothing to worry about:
cointelegraph.com
Its in their interest to not scare the community so they can sell at a good price.
lmao what does VEN have to do with it VEN is a ERC20 token like a lot of others. btw ETH = security does not mean all ERCs are but that being said america may just blanket statement them all
lol, fucking crypto. everyones a liar. cant trust anything anyone says.
