>go to Rome >bunch of niggers start circling me trying to sell me "friendship bracelets" >say I don't want them >start screaming and trying to force it on my arm >leave the place in a hurry >in front of a bakery >woman wants me to sign a "petition to help deaf and mute people" >points to the petition where it says she is deaf/mute and needs 20Euro for help >saw her talking to the cashier in the bakery a few minutes before she approached me >later on in the night a bunch of gypsies keep trying to grab my hands to "read them for 15$ only"
............. What the fuck is wrong with that city, Jesus Christ
Sounds like Rome, alright. Should've kept to the smaller cities.
Isaac Price
Rome is worse than Naples
r. romanon
Daniel Smith
Same shit happens in all the big tourist cities in europe. They're really easy to avoid though. Can't imagine how annoying it must be for locals
Wyatt Perry
I liked rome desu there is a nice little panineria/pizzeria near the colosseum that is really good
Nolan Turner
this didn't happen to me in Berlin and Munich though.
I mean I haven't been to Paris or London so I don't know how it is there but I didn't have this problem in Germany and Austria (only visited Vienna there though).
Juan Gutierrez
does this kind shit happen in the US too?
David Wilson
It was really bad in Paris and I went in the off season for tourism, africans shining laser pointers at tourists to get attention, every metro saying "we have a pickpocket on board" old gypsy women trying to bump into you to get your wallet etc... >does this kind shit happen in the US too? I can't speak for outside the east coast, but no it doesn't. The equivalent class of people here would just be homeless beggars, we don't have gypsies really. Also American cities are very self-segregated so the predominantly poorer blacks and hispanics who would do this are away from the white neighborhoods.
Luis Gray
my dad brought a hammer with him and crushed a gypsy's skull when he was walking some trail in southern spain
t. parents are hecho en mexico

Salvini will fix Rome and save Europe.
Josiah Sanchez
The trick with the africans is to ignore them. I made the mistake of giving one 2 euros because I was naive. I opened my pouch full of hundreds of euros in front of him (big mistake) and he started asking me for more money. At that point I just ignored him until he left. He was so angry with the measly 2 euros I gave him that he tore the bracelet off my wrist. These friendship bracelet fucks should be removed desu, at least the curries offer useful shit like water and phon chargers.
Jace Williams
why doesn't the police do anything about them?
That's good to know, I'm visiting the USA in October.
Montana, Nebraska (don't ask), Minnesota, Vermont and NY.
Ethan Murphy
We don’t have that kind of thing. Probably because we don’t have as much foreign tourism. But also there’s just less “public space” where people are walking period.
Aiden Cooper
>Vermont in October
Good plan. Hope you already bought your ticket, there’s a lot of tourism to New England in October. Fuckin jelly

>woman wants me to sign a "petition to help deaf and mute people" >points to the petition where it says she is deaf/mute and needs 20Euro for help
Classic. They are Indian/Gypsy. They are all over Paris too. I had to explain to my little sister why I refused to help the woman.
Christopher Peterson
What is going on in the south, really? Shit like that happend to me in Mallorca even years ago. They were really, really annoying. Just came back from Italy and at the beach there were tons of niggers trying to sell crap to the people. At least the did understand a no, other than the ones in Spain, still it was pretty annoying that people came to you every 10 minutes.
On the other hand I have never seen this happen ins places like Prague, Amsterdam, Budapest, Salzburg, or any city in Germany.
>why doesn't the police do anything about them? Leftists will scream racism/intolerance/etc. and modern Europe is pretty left wing, that's why it's disappearing
Lucas Rivera
No, because we don't have a culture of street markets. There are Designated Shopping Centers, and no one would ever buy anything from someone who approached them on the street corner.
In fact, that's a big reason the gypsies you encountered are so aggressive, because Americans think that street peddlers are exotic and charming and will gladly pay more than something's worth because we're used to fixed prices at our own stores.
Daniel Robinson
We have dealt with Muslims and gypsyes for longer than you. We used to persecute them in the past until you decided to try it too and it ended so terribly that now it's forbidden to ever try again.
Daniel Lopez
I did yeah. I chose Vermont because I saw some pics online and the place looks fantastic, lol, call me retarded if you will.
Looks very comfy and the maple syrup is great.
Colton Fisher
At least the Gypsys still seam to avoid us like the plague. We got a few beggars the last 10 or so years, but what I hear about other cunts, especially the east but also France, Spain or even the UK is really scary.
Angel Moore
Most of them have eu passports i guess so they just fine them. Or give them a night in jail and the next day they're back on the street. Usually they work in big groups. Its a racket. Just look up scams if you go somewhere then you can arm yourself.
Why havent i seen this in my country then? Some cities are just prime scammer bait because of the big number of tourists. Like Prague, Paris, Rome, Barcelona etc.
Asher Allen
I'd like to drive and I do have an international driver's licence but I'd have to rent a car... I don't know how expensive that is in the US.
I work remotely so I can spend as long as I want (and my visa allows) in the US.
Kevin Cook
1. nigs 2. gyppo's 3. It is Rome 4. Italians.
Connor Reyes
I wonder what drives Brazilians to tour the world. Out of all the travel blogs I read, the vast majority are white Brazilians.
Can't you just stay in you gold cage instead of sperging around the world?
Owen Moore
Didn’t happen to me when i went there. The worst i got was some gypsies trying sell me some weird plastic sling shot thing. The city is beautiful too
Nathaniel Lee
>I wonder what drives Brazilians to tour the world
the same that drives people from any country to tour the world?
Angel Cruz
not really, i mean i'm sure it *happens* in places like new york but even in times square the worst you'll really ever see are annoying mascots walking around trying to get pictures with you.
london wasn't that bad, worst i got was some old british hag begging for money "for the church" and giving out these shitty little paper flowers for whatever people would give her
Nathan King
Perhaps it is a thing that affects foreigners the most. I see Italy as a galaxy unto itself: I don't need to travel abroad to get in contact with another culture.
Or perhaps I just hate traveling and whoever does not speak my language.
Cooper Torres
This shit happens in every big italian city, be it a touristic or a university city
Ethan Morris
>Perhaps it is a thing that affects foreigners the most.
what are you talking about dude? Europeans as a whole are probably the group of people that travel the most in the world.
I'm sure that many Italians like to travel to other places too.
Vermont's good. If you wanted to experience the real New England city vibe without trekking into Boston, Providence R.I. is really nice.
Same. Only time I was approached by anyone in England was in Leeds, it was a crazy scottish guy who kept putting his hands on me but he never took anything. When I got up to Edinburgh I saw a couple bums but eh that's life.
