normie brogrammers who dilute the culture of the cities they take over. in my city we used to have a containment zone for them but now they are everywhere.

2. can't get work without any experience.
3. C# and a lot of .NET stuff. C++, basic C. Html/CSS/JS a lil bit of angular. Some unity.
4.I was taking 2 year courses IRL. Met a lot of cool people and teachers , learned a lot of stuff. But every company requires degree. That is retarded.
5.It doesn't exist.

You need to know 2565223542 programing languages, have experience, and with luck, you get a 2 minimun wage job.

Yes, I know C, python, web languages (php, sql, js) and a bit of fortran

This is true in any country.

t. Programmer

>I don't know why people want to be a code monkey nowdays
Put simply, job safety, higher than average pay and career prospects. This became even more clear to me when me and my friends finished uni and I realized how privileged entry level IT jobs are compared to most qualified jobs in this country. Jokes on them for making fun of us in uni. But on the other hand, this lack of protection for qualified workers contributes for our brain drain and that's just not nice in the long term.

I know R, python and SQL. I work with geospatial data like but I actually understand the subject.

>how is programming regarded in your cunt?
Everyone wants to be an IT engineer here because of the pay.
>can you code in your cunt?
I feel comfortable with Python, R, Java (+ Android), SQL and MongoDB
>when and why did you get interested in coding in your cunt?
Always enjoyed messing around with computers. Learned C and C++ through online tutorials when I was 15.

Honestly, I never got this meme. It's one of the most popular languages in the world and a lot of Indians work in IT. Of course there are a lot of Indian Java programmers, but it's not like we are the only ones.

There is a pervasive notion that if you study computer engineering or even learn to code even at a very basic level you'll become rich but that's not true at all. The field got competitive as fuck with thousands and thousands of Colombian/Venezuelan immigrants willing get underpaid. In nearly 4 or 5 years the mean wage for a programmer with 2-3 years of experience has barely increased at all, and pay for entry-level position has dropped from approx 1.2m CLP to 800k CLP.
