Wisconsin, have work at 8 and have been baking in the sun all day so I'm already pretty tired. To answer a possible future question I work as part of a vault company for caskets but I also bury them/put them in the ground and maintain graveyards.

It can be depressing when people actually care about the person who's died. There's a distinct difference I've noticed when people are there because they have to be versus when they want to be. Don't want to get too depressing since this is a comfy thread.
As for stories there was this family where the siblings were not on good terms with each other and one of them, without telling anybody else, thought it would be funny to dress up like the grim reaper during the father's funeral. There was almost a brawl that day.
Empty churches/mausoleums can be pretty eerie but neat too.

Forgot to mention, on probation since I just started and only make 10hr, but once it's over it goes up to 18 and overtime starts at 4 pm and is not based on the number of hours I've worked that week.

Yeah, I actually really like this job. The boss is super relaxed too, the kind of guy you go out to grab a beer with after work if he wasn't such a workaholic.
Yes but I have not seen any, though I have had some weird things happen. Such as during a funeral the man whose wife died went to grab a rose from a bouquet of roses so he could drop it in on top of her casket but as soon as he took one all the petals fell off, then the rest of the family took a rose and nothing happened and when there was only one left he went to pick it up but all the petals fell off of that one as soon as he touched it.

I feel you fren, went to some forest in New Jersey for a couple of weeks a few years back during July for work and it was 100+ with 90%+ humidity. Working outside was torture.
