Well, considering that Colombia used to be 4 times more dangerous than Mexico and Brazil, it is. Colombia gets safer every year, it's the only country in the region that isn't going through a crisis (Argentina and Venezuela), becoming more dangerous (everyone else) and didn't fell for the communist meme (everyone else). It is also surpassing everyone in PISA, etc.

Medellin right now is pretty fucked up, the authorities captured all the leaders of the criminal groups and they're fighting back, this will be good in the long run but my friends tell me there are murders everyday, I guess the tourist areas and major areas are still safe but you should be careful outside of that
The other cities are ok I guess, except Cali which is naturally dangerous, and any place in the pacific is a no no for any non colombian
