I don't really agree, i've met several very bright and interesting women but this is just a fact of life.
Women are hardwired to be attracted to status, wealth and good genes, it's in their nature to want to give their children the best possible odds of survival so going after a strong, tall, wealthy, good looking man is the best option to produce the most prosperous children.
Women have a lot of things they consider attractive because their role isn't to obtain all of these things but rather to support the man.
You could make the same argument that men are shallowe for only being drawn to a womans body and face but it's just in our nature, a good looking fit woman with a womanly figure will make the best possible mother for your children.
There is nothing wrong with either of these things, it's just the way we are as human beings.

Well, there was a big push for equality of outcome a couple of years back but it got so much backlash so they pretty much scrapped it.
Most serious politicians are in favor for equality of opportunity though wich i feel is fair.
For example, our military special forces are gender neutral, anyone can sign up and theoretically complete it, not a single woman has ever in the history of the nation managed to complete the screening but they are allowed to try.
I guess people have just gone a bit overboard with this whole ''Gender doesn't matter'' idea.
Of course gender matters, and it plays a huge role into behavioural patterns, goals and aspirations, and also mental and physical performance but there is a fine line.
In Nature men are designed to be superior to women in every sense because women are not meant to fight and hunt, but in todays society those skills are not really needed so the effects of our biological differences are minimised.
That said i think while it is good to understand we live in another world than out caveman ancestors did 10000 years ago, we should never disregard these primordial things about us.
