Europeans will defend this

looks like a latin american church
that looks south american
>Americans won't understand this
It's latam. It's still better than many lutheran churches. Orthodox churches strike a fine (the best) balance between authoritative lavishness and humility, imo.
I hope you die protcuck
Go to Israel and worship your boss and pick fruits for him
eventho it's beatiful, it is expĺicit in the bible that we shouldnt make images
no, I won't.
>Europeans will defend this
Looks schizo
What's wrong with this Puerto rican. We are supposed to be friends m8.
Are you reading the Bible or Koran?
Christ took a physical form, so we can display religious icons in physical form. that’s what was declared at the iconclast debates
>your bones will never be used to build a church
they won’t. Everything has to be ugly, cheap and fall apart in less than a year. That’s OP’s ethos and reflection of his inner being.
>yurop
why not? Leave it in your will and I bet your local priest will work something out.
>le epig ghurch faders
>le council
pwned protcucks xD
>Europeans will defend this
I doubt it, they see that as a crime against people of color and will eventually help them tear them down.
>americans won't understand this
That looks like someone vomited on a hornet's nest. There is a beauty not adding everything you can think of to a building.
>Christ isn't the boss of Catholics.
...
what's wrong with this?
Don't mind the protestant cucks itt. We have catholic churches too
That's beautiful. Do protestants not understand the concept of Art?
Based af
that's pretty cool actually, based morbid czechs
Reminder that P*pists are cucks to SATAN
>That's beautiful. Do protestants not understand the concept of Art?
Do Catholics not understand the concept of composition?
how can churchlets even compete? are they trying to insult God or something?
>italians
>kike art critic
haha, you people are the least creative on earth and you want to act like your opinion matters?
What do you mean by composition, hebrew?
He means that it has icons which burn his skin if he steps within a 50 foot radius of it
MY EYES
Much better.
jews want to destroy this
In this case it means that not everything has to be covered with lavish decorations, there should be both dark and light, there should be focus on certain elements created by the putting certain parts into the background and making them stand out less. OP's pic has none of that, you can't even tell what it's trying to portray because there's an overload of information and the focal point loses its gravity.
>absolutely defile the bones of the deceased and use it for structures or ornaments
>MURRIMUTTS MAD
>using bones is defilement
what? I wouldn’t care if my local villige wanted to do something artsy with my bones to make a statement that death is nothing to be afraid of.
I think it’s cool,
*laugh at you*
BAM
Isn't that where they filmed Hogwarts
the problem with your statement is that the particular style of OP’s Church is Baroque, which is meant to be extravagant and ornate. en.m.wikipedia.org
tbf imo it looks a lot like a Hindu style of temple, which isn’t a bad thing. My point being thought that it was done that way on purpose. You don’t have to love the art style, but it’s not like it was random.
looks orthodox
I dont know, im not a zoomer
>zoomer
Harry potter was a 90s craze ya Zom
Yeah I know about the style, I just don't think it's anything to be proud of, though baroque wasn't always this excessive
it doesn't
E*ropean cucktholic scum sucks at architecture.
I mean not really, didn't the first book come out in like '97? It wouldn't have been immensely popular immediately either, and then not as popular until the first movie came out which was like 2001?
more of a 00's thing then
being able to see it irl, to appreciate the symbolism and take it in slowly, one at a time, probably is different from looking at still pics. Also tbf maybe Catholics would appreciate it more since thet actually have an idea of who’s being potrayed. For a Jew, none of the figures hold significance.
>It wouldn't have been immensely popular immediately eithe
it was an instant hit. Zoomers were too young to read it if they were even born. Harry Potter was a boomer craze
I've been in baroque buildings, I always get the feel that the overload of detail is a bit tasteless
2000 was the peak of Harry Potter craze as I remember it, I was born in 91, zoomers were born after 97 and couldn't appreciate it yet
wrong
I see a sorta easternness to it too, whether it’s Eastern Europe or Asia. I guess Gothic and Romanesque style would be the sort of baseline for a Western Style. pic is Gothic style,
>I've been in baroque buildings, I always get the feel that the overload of detail is a bit tasteless
OP's pic is Hispanic baroque (Mexican churrigueresque to be exact), which is another style of baroque architecture.
>The combination of the Native American and Moorish decorative influences with an extremely expressive interpretation of the Churrigueresque idiom may account for the full-bodied and varied character of the Baroque in the American colonies of Spain. Even more than its Spanish counterpart
I've been to pic related and other Mexican churches and cathedrals and they're incredibly, excessively opulent.
>tfw Jewish
>tfw synagogues growing up had a minimum of bling
>tfw looking at this kind of nonsense
>Jews can't imagine opulence in God's house, but have it in abundance in their private vaults
I'd rather glorify God with it than myself.
