this is the entirety of going outside during the day during the summer in these places

The only time they're outside is when they're going to or from their car. And even then they might have a garage in their house of office so even that's avoidable.

This really, Florida gets much more insufferable heat-wise than Arizona deserts.

I dunno what it's like in Phoenix, but in Shanghai with clean sky and 41°C were all right. Plus almost every place has an AC.

They don't have a central heating in Southern China, so they, I believe, they use AC with heating/cooling functions.

You learn to deal with it. It can't be stressed how much easier the heat is because it's not humid. If you're outside try not to be in the sun and it's fine.
I'd take 40-45C, sunny, and dry vs the humid swampy bullshit of a lot of South eastern states

You know how around your area (I assume) construction is a seasonal job because you can't effectively build in the winter? Well, same shit in the desert except you swap winter and summer.

Americans don't really go outside. They walk from they airco home to their airco car to their airco work

I don't go a lot outside either because I don't have friends.

I don't live in a desert; however I have visited them and they're very comfy.
