What exactly is consensus?

Holy fuck....I remember some user asking why was it so important to finish testnet by May 4th Friday. I thought about it and guessed we would find out Monday....what happened Monday -

azure.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/simplifying-blockchain-app-development-with-azure-blockchain-workbench-2/

What the fuuuuuuuckkkk, were actually going to be rich boys

Holy FUCK FUCK GOING ALL IN RIGHT NOW

Does anyone have a connection between Chainlink and Azure? I feel like I've seen screenshots here or there but I don't have any saved.

i never noticed that i always thought it was a curtain being pulled back in the background

>azure.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/simplifying-blockchain-app-development-with-azure-blockchain-workbench-2/

ctrl+f chainlink 0 results
ctrl+f smartcontracts.com 0 results
ctrl+f Sergey 0 results

yea, because they're going to come out and say they are using chainlink before it's even in fucking mainnet. absolute state of nolinkers

That pic really excites me

...

>docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/blockchain-workbench/blockchain-workbench-architecture

>Message consumers

>Message consumers take messages from Service Bus. The underlying eventing model for message consumers allows for extensions of additional services and systems. For example, you could add support to populate CosmosDB or evaluate messages using Azure Streaming Analytics. The following sections describe the message consumers included in Blockchain Workbench.

>Distributed ledger consumer
>Distributed ledger technology (DLT) messages contain the metadata for transactions to be written to the blockchain. The consumer retrieves the messages and pushes the data to a transaction builder, signer, and router.

I hold link. I just hate these threads spreading bs.

I think I may bust an actual nut

it's either that or the window showing from behind his chair

Another one

Attached: Untitled.jpg (1636x1136, 411K)

I just busted a fake nut

The whole solution is about using a set of MS Azure API based services and integrate it with ethereum. This is like every linky wet dream.

I'll use this shit at my new work. Looks incredibly grand for a huge finance/corporate environment.

OH SHIT

I'm getting more and more convinced that the singularity is not a meme. Imagine a year's worth of Jow Forums autism and shilling exploding out in the largest 15m green candle anyone's ever seen.

goddammit im about to fomo in

It has never been a meme, were going to make it harder than anyone else in crypto. Bitcoin millionaires will be overshadowed by Chainlink billionaires in the future.

You can't just ctrl+f "smart contract" and instantly assume it can't be anything else but Chainlink, ffs.

but chainlink and sergey is the creator of smart contracts

Now here is where it gets interesting...Microsoft will be at Consensus next week.... fits timeline

apttus.com/resources/smart-contracts/

Who is gonna go through this whitepaper and compare it to LINK's?

no, but they did create Microsoft Cryplets which are now called Enterprise Smart Contracts.

apttus.com/

This company is the chainlink wet dream.

I hope you are right, friend.

docs.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/blockchain-workbench/blockchain-workbench-create-app

>Smart contracts represent the business logic of the blockchain application. Currently, Blockchain Workbench supports Ethereum for the blockchain ledger. Ethereum uses Solidity as its programming language for writing self-enforcing business logic for smart contracts.

Jesus fucking christ, user....are we actually going to be rich as fuck?

Is this really happening?

ctrl+f the chosen one 1000 results

The dream is closer than it was two weeks ago. Unfortunately this is how we linkies must live for now.

Link doing 100000x would do a lot for Jow Forums imo. Jow Forums would be treated as gods on other boards

Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't there a strong connection between Chainlink and Salesforce? Anyone have that graphic with all the arrows pointing from link to salesforce, mulesoft, world economic forum, etc?

Possible companies using chainlink?

Attached: Screen Shot 2018-05-07 at 2.47.47 PM.png (2718x576, 255K)

Here is my theory. SmartContract created Chainlink as an open source backbone with the intention of being the backbone to ANY product needing oracles. SmartContract is behind the scenes showing companies that they don't have to design an oracle solution as they open sourced for them. I think the company's customers will be using chainlink without ever knowing. For example, I expect Microsoft to own a bunch of link and then charge customers in dollars as the decentralized oracle is just part of their azure solution.

service announcement:
Smart contracts don't equate chainlink. Smart contracts equate to solidity code working on the ethereum network.

The name of Sergays company, Smart Contracts is just a smart marketing ploy to confuse people.

>smart marketing ploy to confuse people

>whois smartcontract.com
>registered 2008 by Sergey Nazarov
Fuck off you cunt

Agreed, I remember a thread where the idea was that it would run in the background for a lot of different services, and the users wouldn't even be aware of the fact that chainlink was a part of their transaction.

I remember that as well. Czeched

Attached: 1523508467050.jpg (2610x1754, 395K)

>decentralized oracle is just part of their azure solution

Attached: 1519729841958.jpg (636x848, 98K)

Yes but Sergey and team built Cryplets which is part of Azure. So there actually is a connection.

Smart contracts don't care about off-chain data. The term "Smart contracts" don't imply usage of off-chain data.

Currently, Smart Contracts mean Solidity code on ethereum. Nothing else.

oh wow a whole bucket of nothing.

SWIFT, FB, M$, TSLA, Salesforce, Docusign, and Domino's Pizza Delivery Tracker system have already been linked to the project. IT'S ALL PRICED IN.

Hope you are ready to sell the news.

see

>Smart contracts don't care about off-chain data

Yeah I can't imagine any smart contracts wanting to use off-chain data. You're right, LINK is a scam.

Fuck off.

You can imply the connection not by ctrl+f "smart contracts". You can look for stuff like this by digging around:

God damnit linkies are so fucking deluded.

You show all signs of brainletism. Don't care what you'll say after this point.
Shame that people like you will become moneyed soon.

>signs of brainletism

Statistically, I'm probably a lot smarter than you are. But OK.

will this even affect the price of LINK tho?

Are there not countless instances in which smart contracts could perform certain tasks by pulling off chain data?

The current price is driven by pure speculation, meaning the only buy pressure is bots and memes. ChainLink is as under the radar as it gets.

As soon as there's a real world use (i.e. buy pressure), the price will go up. Supply and demand. Combine this with the staking idea, and you got a stew goin'.

just by saying that, even if I agreed with you everytime, you proved that you're indeed a fucking moron

I mean it's a douchey thing to say, but it's true... I can see why it would make me a cunt, but I don't see how it makes me a moron. Get butt blasted over an internet comment.

What color should my lambo be? Haha HODL to the moon boys hehehe

get one in every color user

Smart contracts don't care about off-chain data because they can't see it presently*
There you go, FTFY. They will care about it - a lot - once CL is in full effect. I hope you're not trying to claim otherwise, because you would just be making an ass of yourself.

it's happening, for real this time:

reddit.com/r/Chainlink/comments/8hr6kn/chainlink_onchain_email_validation/

Sergey bought the domain from someone much later in 2014, not 2008

And the fact that you didn't get his point in this post

This is what makes you a moron

That's not his point though. Go read his first post.

The domain was registered to a different registrar (previously owner by some business) and only in 2014 it was transfered to Sergey. You can also check archive pages which show that the site was blank before 2014 and the period when Sergey bought it coincides with the first version of Smart Oracles website.

we are close frens this won't moon this will be a singularity.

Holy shit user. Nestle owns so many subsidiary companies... if they automate a fraction of their corporate structure with Chainlink, then LINK holders will have a plethora of smartcontract jobs and a massive token price.

And around 2:55

Hexagon and the lock. Nowhere near as typical as just a cube, i.e., a block. Interesting.

If you still don't understand the connection between Chainlink and Azure after reading this thread, then you're a lost cause.

fuck chainlink and fuck nofap. Now i need a new pair of pants and underwear. Thanks a lot Sergey you absolute fucking madman

I agree with the nofap
