>there are people who actually use English as their main language

Weird. It always feels like we're all speaking English to each other because we couldn't communicate otherwise, but there are actually people who then go home and speak English to their family, friends and co-workers.

Yes, it's just that naturally a superior of a language, I suppose.

Its not fair. If I learn another language now I'll only be bilingual. If a European learns another language as an adult they will be trilingual or likely more.

>learning a language just so you can brag about how many language you know
Never gonna make it.

Same feelings.

>English is the only language he can speak
What's it like being brainlet?

Finnish - fluent
English - fluent
Swedish - pretty bad, used to be almost fluent
German - worse than swedish

Learning languages is useless unless you use them at least weekly. Your skill deteriorates pretty fast with them.

>there are people who go home and speak foreign
weird. Foreign is just something we try to speak in class and partially learn it so we don't fail the tests

how often do euros use english in their day to day lives? and by that I mean outside with other human beings, not on the internet

Almost never unless a tourist asks me for directions. There's so much media floating around that you can't really avoid avoid hearing English in your daily life.

I can barely even speak English anymore thanks to shitposting being pretty much all I do nowadays. Dont need to form proper sentences and things like grammar just gets thrown out of the window.
I even got the highest possible grade in English from my high school finals, funny how you can forget a language in 5 years.

Never unless you come in contact with foreigners, which I do every day. But honestly it didn't have much of an impact on my skills, the internet made it so I technically speak English more than any other language, even before I had to deal with tourists as my job.

Unless they're Spanish, their native language is useless.

Just get into a lot of heated arguments where you have to use the language to your best knowledge to argue your points and defend them.

Yeah, it is kind of weird. I speak Dhauwurdwurung IRL.

Yeah, I'm sure you use languages aside from English on that American military base.
Cretin.

Arguing anonymously is boring, I prefer shitposting and pissing people off.

>tfw you can speak your native language with your friend abroad and nobody will understand you
feeling which no one English-speaking person could ever feel.

This shit feels great.

I imagine if you deal with tourists in Czech you have to speak English, German and maybe Russian

I mean you do you. There are many ways to keep your english strong and keep it high level. Reading, watching videos/films, typing something that's not /s4s/ tier. Anything that doesn't use broken grammar, memes or elementary school english will help you. There is kust so much material on the internet if you have an interest in a certain topic, be it a videogame or I don't know, all the 9/11 inside job arguments. Heck, even reading posts like mine actively trains your english.

I just speak English and everybody else can fuck off. If you travel abroad, use the international language EVERYBODY learns at school. If you come here expecting me to speak russian or spanish or italian you are retarded and have only yourself to blame for coming unprepared.

Does it bother you having to speak or listen to it?
I know having to listen to sp*nish all of the fucking time makes me rage
But at least I am white enough that nobody ever tries to speak it to me

Ah I see.
When I was in Prague Germans would just speak German without even asking so I figured most Czechs know the language

In America Spanish is associated with lower class people so it gets that reputation.

The thing is, I can understand 100% of the texts that I read, my vocabulary and grammar has just gotten so much worse during the years.

I love english and prefer it over my native languages. I think in english and do just about anything in english if it's for me personally. I don't know what it is about english but I just love using it.

Nah. English is kinda boring language to me but I don't see it annoying in any way. I'd say it's the best lingua franca as it's so simple and easy to use.

yes, yes, English is the most fun and easy language to use

those girls look chinky as fuck

Well I'd say Swedish is even easier to learn but who would try to convert the world to use that gay language.

The internet doest call us Mongols for no reason. Also that's clearly taken on a sunny winter day which means total blindness unless you squeeze your eyes.

Ignore that sunny part of my text, I'm clearly in need of a bed right now.

>blonde
>blue eyes
>asiatic features
Truly we are the master race.

Yeah even though I'm biased even when I listen to those videos which are made to sound like English without accually meaning anything it sounds really flat. At least it has a fuck off huge vocabulary for imagery.
