Any countrybois here like the smell of manure? I grew up in the countryside and moved to the city and now whenever I smell that sickly sweet scent of cow pat/manure it makes me nostalgic as fuck

>scent of cow
cow shit isn't smelly you cheeky cunt

I live on a farm. No cows though. Just endless rows of soybeans.

My friend's dad raised cattle so I'm use to it, but I like the smell of hay more.

I used to live in deep mountain country near a farm. I miss the smell of manuer, nature, and the sense of openness.

yes, and the sight of sheep just wandering around

kek, good meme

i live surrounded by soybeans/corn. there are a couple hog farms down the road, when the wind blows just right on a hot day the smell is absolutely intolerable. everyday, sometimes twice a day, a giant tanker come down the road filled up with liquid hog shit. it's pretty gross, not into pork much anymore

Fuck no. Cut hay though, now there's a beautiful smell.

Depends...
Sometimes it smells EXTREMELY bad... but sometimes I get what you mean.

For me though... it's the smell of tar that makes me nostalgic

Or the smell of drying paint in the summer air.

When I return home from school the smell is refreshing

Or the smell of burning grass...
OK I'll stop now

I genuinely live on a soy and maize farm.

If they fertilize a field with manure it smells like shit only right after. Soon the manure starts to rot and it begins to smell sickly sweet in a way. Then it dries and stops smelling.

Chicken shit smells the worst btw.

Yeah, but generally not when the weather's dry and hot.

>being a countryboi
This is literally shit

But other than the occasional heatwave, when is it ever dry and hot in Ireland?

It takes me back to comfy memories of being a kid at the local agricultural show
t. cityboi

Either work on a farm or go pick up a chainsaw

I think that's partially because of the german in you, sweaty :)

The worst is pigfarms with their manure lagoons, can be smelled many miles away

The summer.
It's really only a tolerable smell when there's enough moisture in the air for the smell of the grass and soil to be transmitted in the air along with the shit.
