Tomb of Sargeras. First time, pug.
Only got to lvl 110 for the first time last weekend. Didn't play all week so was just doing the burning questline there this evening, and first raid.
Still need to find a guild or something. No idea if these new communities are any good.

Yep, I'm ready to go aside from deciding on what character to play. I levelled 2 alts this week so I have some choices. I'm in a guild that I've been around for a few years even though I take breaks for a year or two at a time they don't really mind since they only raid heroic. The GM said I could play what I want so long as its a ranged DPS so I'm thinking Druid or Shaman.

There are some achievement quests to unlock flying in Legion zones which would be nice in the future since it applies to alts as well. The one I'm doing at the moment involves getting rep of a certain faction to Revered and completing that raid is one of the quests which gives a lot of it. Not essential by any means but would be nice to have.

It's very quick from 100 when you buy the heirlooms. Just complete quests in 2 zones, don't even need to do dungeons.
Maybe 6 or 7 hours each. And its easy to play while multitasking watching anime or something on Netflix.

Generally 2 expansions back should be easy for everyone and 1 raid back can depend on the class. Maybe easy for a blood DK but difficult for specs that struggle to self heal.

Sub rogue is what I currently have. I only have my rogue to 110 so that'll be the class, but I'm somewhat open on the spec.
I was already sub, and a video I watched said they didn't have as many "fun bits" removed compared to the two other specs.

I'm sure you're well capable based on your /éire/ posting competency although admittedly it may not be the best judgement of ability...
But really, so long as you put some slight research into your spec and some slight effort into gearing at max level you should find heroic raiding easy enough.
Aim high and pug if it doesn't work out!

Best way to find one to just ask in trade chat? Thought there used to be a LFGuild channel but don't appear to see in anymore, may need to dig around a bit.
May give the guild finder a go aswell. Does your guild have a lot of members?

Check the wowprogress website on the potential guild to make sure they were actually doing some useful last expansion.
The LFG channel is gone I think because of the guild finder thing. I have no idea how useful that is since when I last picked a guild I applied to one that I knew had been around for a long time rather than random places.

A few hundred but most raiders have been around for years so are relied on. I get to be one of the filler players for them to make up the numbers but they're still quite nice and I'm happy to be there.
