I wonder if most of the Jow Forums posters here type English better than speaking it

>how come people with education speak better English than poor and uneducated wetbacks

Hmm gets my neurons rolling...

I thought the most educated people move to the USA?

>wetbacks
>educated
You're literally receiving the worst scum of Mexico.
Educated Mexicans move to Canada, Europe, or other countries, legally.

You fuckers dominate us. During my teenage years I'd only consume anglo media, so that's how I learned (learnt?) engrish.
Also I've lived in New Mexico for a year.

Because the ones that immigrate to your country are lower class citizens, most of Latin American anons are middle to upper class.

Both learnt and learned are correct

>Also I've lived in New Mexico for a year.
Did you feel out of place as a Brazillian? It's mostly Spics out there.

>the goblinos who immigrate to my country
Does not compute... Are you saying amerigoblins are immigrants in the American continent? Or are you a chicANO?

Kind of, Brazil is Tropical and NM is a desert, but it was extremely comfy. Everyone's chill and very, very kind.
Also everything is cheap (for São Paulo standards).

I was in college back then, so I'd see white people and spics all day (whites and blacks in the US are tall and built, what the fuck), but it didn't really matter.

I miss that place, man.

Thanks :3

"They're not sending their best"
Trump wasn't lying when he said that. All the best mexicans are living middle class of upper class lives in Mexico City, Monterrey, maybe Guadalajara etc

They have no reason to move to America.

fucking lol

Absolutamente basado.

us and Argentina were in a pretty similar position at the start of the 20th century
thats your country on non anglo institutions

No, if we're educated enough we can make something of ourselves in our home planets, the people who to first world countries are the ones who have absolutely no hope of ever having a nice life here. "Making it" is much, much easier in the USA.

Brazillians really don't move to the USA

>en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brazilian_diaspora
>United States: 1,100,000

Mostly in Florida

Attached: 1402589827221.jpg (499x496, 58K)

I live in Florida. For some reason Brazillians hang out with other Spanish speaking South Americans. I thought the language barrier was a huge deal

how are the kids, perú?

I'm not the quoted, but there are quite a large number of brazilians in the US (though not comparable to the number of spanish speakers). I am the living proof of such, being second generation diaspora born in america. However, the reasons are almost always different from other latinos since the country is much more far away, and the only way to migrate is by airplane and only middle to upper class people can pay for that. Not to mention that Brazil is not a very nationalist country nowadays like Mexico and people don't even consider themselves latino, so they get "americanized" very easily and don't attract much attention due to that reason.

forgot to mention that i wasn't born in standard brazilian places such as florida, so my opinion may be biased

if you are the best, you don't leave your comfy familiy and country.

migration ALWAYS gives you the worst

Explain Asian Americans then

Ehh, its harder to come here. If you look at groups like Vietnamese, Cambodians, Laotians, etc they're here as refugees and they're poorer than the average Spic

they are forced to leave by their countries.

Spanish and Portuguese speakers can understand each other pretty well. They have something like 89% lexical similarity. Even if words aren't remotely the same, they most likely know the equivalent because (I'm guessing) they would study the other language in school in their country. I know a Portuguese girl from my old school who had text conversations with Spaniards constantly

>they would study the other language in school in their country.

no, we only study english in school.

anyways if a brazilians speak slowly, i can understand almost everything he says

i can also read portuguese with no problems, and i have never studied their langueage

Yeah that makes sense. I remember listening to this Spanish radio station and this Brazillian called in, and they spoke completely in Portuguese and the Spanish radio commentator understood him

We don't study Portuguese at school, only English.

I'm a Chicano. I can't understand a Brazillian for shit

Portuguese is basically a complex version of spanish, so spanish speakers have a little bit of a harder time understanding it (more so with european portuguese, even brazilians need just a little bit of practice to understand it sometimes depending on the dialect). Spanish (no offense) sound like a basic version of portuguese to us, but you are mostly correct

if you are not use to it, and they speak fast, you cant understand anything, but as soon as they slow down, you start to understand

>add inha at the end of every word

OOOOHH SO COMPLEX

Grammatically speaking, portuguese is not much more complex. But things change when we start to talk about the phonetics of both languages. Portuguese has around 20 phonemes that are not present in spanish, while spanish has only 2 that are not present in portuguese. Why do you think that when a brazilian talks in portuñol they mainly do it by switching false friends here and there as opposed of when you speak, that do it so by talking with a completely different pronunciation aside from the grammatical errors? We can easily speak in the standard spanish "accent" but i've never seen a boludo that came to Brazil and could speak brazilian portuguese with perfection even after literally fucking decades living here.

ayy

chicanos are the scum of latin america, if you ever go to mexico you'll find out mexicans are decent likeable people worthy of respect unlike the ones living in the us

I have a thick accent but I speak it well enough.

We are not sending our best.

Alright

Some of the people we send don't even speak spanish in first place.

Same can be said for here.

A british guy once complemented my accent, he even thought I was a local
