Learn a european language

>learn a european language
>pick up the language easily
>learn the alphabet once, know it forever
>the pronunciation of words is still fairly easy
>with enough practice, can reach a native level

>learn chinese
>have to continuously learn the writing system
>tones are impossible to remember
>still can't understand natives
>the speakers are rude as fuck anyways
>even the white people who learned chinese give off a beta feel
>no matter what, a native will always be better than you

Why is this the case? I've been learning Chinese for 4 years now and I'm having a linguistic mid-life crisis, especially after beginning to try and learn Greek and Russian over the years and realising how easy they were.

mfw I was told that my chinese is perfect after 7 months of learning

>That flag
>Learning Chinese
Dude fight back you do not have to become hong kong

chinks are dumb as rocks, thats why.

idk m8 the first foreign language I learnt was Asian and I found it pretty easy, but then I started learning French and found it even easier. Maybe you're just dumb.

Also don't learn Chinese, it's a shit language for subhumans.

Natives are always better than second language speakers. Also, Mandarin is easier to learn than many languages. You’re just a brainlet =^]

which language?

I need Chinese for a job, can anyone give me some tips on learning it?

Move to Melbourne.

I already live there

giap

>learning ch*nese and not Japanese to understand animes
foolish baka desu

If the job requires Chinese, find a different job.

Date a Chinese girl

Dude. If you take a few 2 hour classes each week, you’ll learn it in a year or so.

I learned here in fucking Chile

Either you are a brainlet, lazy f*rstie, or baiting. I assume the latter.

Why? I make twice my peers because I know Chinese, english, and spanish.
China is like 30% of our economy, and it’s the reason we are booming unlike Mexico and Conglombia

>learning a dying language

It’s not the 80s anymore, gramps

>selling your country to yellow red devils who will rape and eat your children is worth it for short-term financial benefit

I'm not baiting, I'm asking a legit question. I probably just need to be more committed and thought that asking an international board would be a good place to ask.

What learning materials are you using? It might be that you need to be more dedicated, or maybe the materials you're using aren't quite right for you.

If Moses McCormick can do it I don't know how an Aussie can't.

Kanji/hanzi system is a totally different system that is difficult to handle if you're not taught when you're young
So well, if you do not just want to learn fairly understandable but not native Chinese and be fine with it, I'd say you either need to work really hard or just give up for the sake of saving time and money

Just whatever textbooks I can find in my local library, writing down characters as well as using any online resources I can find.

don't trade with insane psychopaths who are openly plotting to conquer and destroy you
