This is it guys, I finally turned 18 and I can follow my dreams of adventure. I will not rot in this hole forever. I want to live my life to its fullest and I will reject the idea of having an office job where I can for the rest of my life repeat the same day over and over again til I die. I will become a legionare and if I die young, then so be it, I do not fear death. I want to live a life that I will look back at with pride and satisfaction, a life with stories I can tell my children if I'll ever have some and a life that most people can only dream of. I reject everything my parents gave me (I come from a somewhat rich family) and I will redefine myself and forgent about my turbulent childhood. I will not finish school, and after I finish my 5 year contract I want to become a mercenary. I will come back to my country, I will settle down in the house my father built and I'll continue picking up merc contract. My future has begun. I will probably stay o few more week here to say goodbye to friends and relatives.
Do you have any tips for someone who wants to join the French Forein Legion? Have you been there or do you personally know people who have went there and what can you tell me about it? I want to be as prepared as posible before leaving.
