traitor that should be shot
on the other hand
>japs anti air is so bad they failed to shot down a flying rustbucket
He also showed us we don't need to take western militaries seriously
KGB and military did a bad job of letting someone like him pilot valuable vehicles. There will always be traitors - the only question is how you recognize them before it's too late.
What if you look in the mirror and traitor is you?
yes maybe u right.
our anti air system was so bad.
He flied very low so radar couldn't catch him.
He showed on Hakodate's sky to Sapporo.
please don't come to Nippon such tricks.
I wonder why there is such a great amount of Soviet citizens (and military pilots too) which lost anything they have just to flee out of the USSR
He did nothing wrong.
He was amazed whe he saw average american supermarket for the first time.He even thought it was psy-op conducted by CIA to demoralize him.

Whenever we captured Soviet aircraft, we always found that the things were 15-20 years behind American planes technologically.
this is his documentary drama in Japanese tv.
The same why there were communist spies in the west during the Cold War - either brainwashed or wanted to improve their lives (by taking bribes for example).

And the saddest thing is that USSR spent vast amount of money on military and still wasn't able to compete with the US
Didn't you fail to shoot down or detect a kraut in a Cessna once?
Russian doctrine is not built around air superiority and so much fancy planes, Even in the Soviet days it was anti-aircraft missiles and air defence. Any aircraft they have is just to support that system
They usually had excellent aerodynamics and maneuverability, but the engines, airframes, radar, avionics, and pilot safety features were pretty much shit. The MiG-25 was from the 70s and it still used entirely vacuum tube electronics. This was after microprocessors were out.
What do you mean by that? If we weren't competitive, USA wouldn't spend so much money on military and space. We forced them to develop whole industries during the Cold War - NASA is an example. No idea what you're talking about.
Not to mention that our developments from the past century are still cost-effective on the battlefield - T-72, AK47, even fucking Mosin rifles are still used.
To be entirely fair, the domestic versions of Soviet fighters were never actually tested in combat so their performance is a question mark, although export versions have a poor track record.
We intercepted it just at the border
didn't have to shoot it since it was just a cessna
>we
they
All you ever captured in your life was your dick by your fist.
Russia is no more Socialism but Liberalism now.
You can travel to other country.
but
Have you ever think I want to defect to other western country?
Welp...
Korea
The funniest part is that we managed to create superior things with inferior tech taking advantage in aerodynamics and physics
Well he is talking about americans as whole
they're incapable to do anything worthy, just steal other people achievments.
The vatnik in this thread is strong...
Never heard about that
Deserved execution, if he did that
Consering how many NASA astronauts have died the last twenty odd years I wouldn't want to brag
Hey Russia
You can come to Japan like that.
but We want SU57 next time.
please gibe us SU57 as souvenir.
It is already canceled
Why Russian economy is not good but their government spend lots of money for military/ airforce/ navy?
It's Russia. That's just how thinks work there. :^)
Military boosts economy
>our anti air system was so bad
Are you implying things are any different nowadays? Talking about those NK missiles in your air-space and shiet.
This case was written in Teduka comics for an ill child.
Did your country become better society ??
Soviet and Russia.
What difference of both 2 country?
The couple took refuge in the Soviet Union from the information of the base to Japan in 1960s.
National Security Agency were the opportunities that became tolerant of a gay.
What`s up with avoiding my question anyway?
Why Russian people here are trying to defend USSR?
USSR was so great people where trying to leave it, risking their life and it forced soviet authority to build a fucking wall so its citizen doesn't flee en masse (which they did when it fell, by the million).
USSR had it good sides, but it was the good sides of a dictatorship. It's not this citizen that failed their country, it's USSR that failed its citizen.
USSR was too advanced for subhumans populating most of it
Russo-chan so qqqqqqqtttttttt.
I luv uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu
Smart guy, lived the rest of his life in luxury under a false name in murrica.
Shit like this happened a lot during the cold war
en.wikipedia.org
>North Korean
>Former pro Japanese imperialist
>Becomes fighter jet pilot and then flies directly to US airbase after the war
>Given nearly $1,000,000 reward for his aircraft
>Didn't even know their was a reward just wanted to move to the US
Why do modern Russians consider people who acted against the USSR to be traitors?
Jow Forums told me you were not commies anymore.
ouch, seems like it struck a nerve
russia has been reduced to le ebil boogeyman western politicians use to achieve something
russians are angry that they aren't relevant like they used to back in the USSR days, so this is why most russians think of USSR as a good thing even tough its economy was steaming pile of shit
