>Unironically getting in debt in order to study some art meme degree.
Gees, No wonder these retards are dying of starvation. They are kinda making a favour to the world by being that retarded.
If your dumb enough to get a fine arts degree you serve this fate
>Fine Arts degree
It's not other's fault she made a shitty investment.
>>Fine Arts degree
What do you do with that?
Work at a museum?
Probably sucked at that too.
Someone hates women
>Americans
I mean yes she's a dumbass but there's a systemic problem if people like her are constantly being granted massive loans they'll obviously never pay back
> Fine arts degree
Unneeded. Go to the trash bin and suffer.
How saturated is the market for construction trades in 1st world countries?
Stuff like welders, builders, carpenters and electricians.
I AM ENTITLED
saturated enough that wages are shit and you will be made fun off behind your back
>Stuff like welders, builders, carpenters and electricians.
Not enough here, too many pussies that don't want to work that hard
Are you fucking retarded? It's literally the least saturated market,it's full of low paying jobs with low prestige that nobody but immigrants will take
>unironically getting an arts degree
How the fuck did you get that out of what I asked?
>me
>soft. engineering degree finishing in half a year
>already working at part time at an international company, have the choice of moving abroad the second I finish uni and go full time
>40 an hour at 22 and have nothing but room to grow
Oh yeah and I'm male, you must feel pretty dumb
Eh it depends. Tradies make more than some college grads who don't have their shit together. However you will obviously make more if you find gainful employment with a professional degree eg MD, JD, MBA
My sister is studying history at uni ...
>low paying jobs
Really? I heard electricians make something like $30 an hour in the US. Sure it's not a stellar wage but it's pretty good for anywhere out of the bay area or NYC.
saturated as fuck here, housing is pretty bottlenecked here. I think in america it's thriving though but I'd rather be an engineer than a tradie.
I think graphic design and stuff like that are also considered fine arts. Don't be so hasty and judgemental people.
Not all people want to study STEM
>electrician
>low paying
LMAO
I'm a 22 year old electrician who works at a big company with my own work car, personal car and apartment. I make more than your average engineer, but with zero in debt. The first world needs electricians right now.
which grocery store will she work at when graduating ?
Why can't women have normal interests?
Yet to meet a single women, whose only interest is herself and female media.
Because you don't talk to women.
I do.
>first world needs electricians
Maybe where you live. Not here. Needs plumbers and bricklayers. Plumbers are paid okay but menial construction not so much.
>$20 000 dollars in debt
Doesn't sound like a lot considering it's an american university.
>20K dollars in college debt
that isn't a lot right?
Just import more polacks.
>making stupid decisions in a country with no safety net
How retarded can you be.
> fine arts degree
Lmao just paint some masterpieces and sell them for millions. Easy money.
it's like 2 years tuition at an in state public school
Ayy lmao
>2 years tuition at an in state public school
So not an actual degree from not an actual good school? Why even bother?
State public schools can be good (Virgnia U, Penn State, Chicago U, UCLA are known worldwide) but an Associate degree seems to be pretty looked down upon in the US.
it's 2 years cost of a four year program
it depends where she lives and when the pic was taken, it's probably 2011 when occupy wall street happened?
>Associate degree
They tried that here but nobody would consider those degrees at all. You were told youi could wipe with it and come back with an actual bachelors.
>tfw you have 3 ass degrees
Should've gotten a good one then.
I always thought if uni was expensive people would stop getting meme degrees and study engineering, medicine or something like that. But apparently people really, really want to get meme degrees even if it's very expensive.
this, plumbers are richer than engineers by far
the only non meme degree is law, with wih you can enter a lot of public jobs( the only non meme jobs these days)
It's more like there's this path set in society recently, where college is the next step for everyone after school, before employment.
So they get a degree in something they think they'd like to work with to realize that the world is actually a bitch and there's no place for them.
If you are a good artist you can get a job easily.
She probably is just a shit artist. Colleges need to screen harder.
The issue is that most places actually want degrees for art positions nowadays on top of portfolios
It's probably not even that, just that she shirked building up a portfolio or getting internships (which is the prerequisite in meme degrees, college is just wide vacations for you to fit work into), and now no one will rightfully take a chance on her.
If you have a masters degree. Bachelors, not so much. Advise, read, not do much. Bachelors in general is not where the money is, get a masters. Too late for me now. Past a certain age all studies are no longer mostly paid by the state but you have to cough up the money yourself.
Looking into a bachelors statistics, cheap yet in high demand. Especially the IT direction. Data analysis and such. My brother is a devops engineer and he outearns me by a good margin. He could not make it through a vocational school and was kicked out of several highschools, yet can program like nobodys business. Programmers make loads of cash too.
Fresh out of college, 6 masters degrees, willing to work below minimum wage, yet with 20 years experience crammed into 10 years by means of 3 jobs. I have seen em ask for minimum 5 years experience in a programming language that is 2 years old and kick every cv and then wonder why nobody is qualified.
>fine arts degree
What are the non-fine arts?
>Looking into a bachelors statistics, cheap yet in high demand. Especially the IT direction. Data analysis and such. My brother is a devops engineer and he outearns me by a good margin. still a wageslave who can get fired and treated like shit. No statal job= wagecuck
Government here pays a lot less than private sector. Upside is they fire a lot less. But they can and still will fire your ass.
The ones that work government and get paid big are external consultants. This is on a project basis though.
>But they can and still will fire your ass.
LMAO poor holland, here once you secure a public job nobody can do shit. Well since a few year they can fire you now if you badge and leave the work place
>be me, librarian
>comfy job
>good pay
>no kids
>I'm in charge, no other employees
>my library is actually an small restored house
>have an electric kettle and cookies for the grandmas of the book club
>read stories to children
Have fun with your stem degree
>>good pay
doubt it
Like liberal arts ( communications, law, sociology, political science etc)
>read stories to children
also pedogay
He moves hella coco
>communications
nice meme degree broh
Here librarian is a study that you can actually take all the way to professor. Except by then it is called documentalist. My former employer had that degree. Multimillionaire.
Up to masters it is still called librarian but you will mostly look at databases, big data, organisations, etc. Or look after documents and laws for the state, state libraries with historical documents. Pays wel for a government job.
Bachelors comunication here is borderline meme degree. If you fail at all else, go for that one. Masters is a lot more useful. But if you can do that, go for marketing instead.
2k USD for a single person without debt is pretty good, I don't pay rent because I inherited my house, plus the government is my employer
>contact with children makes you a pedo
>OMG FUCKING ROASTIE TOO AWAY MY KID. FUCK DIVORCE
you are part of the problem retard
I guess I must be the 1% then.
>you need a degree to be a secretary
literally american tier
Nice, public libraries in the Netherlands must be pretty and well equipped
in some cities here you need a degree or be enrolled in a degree program for some banks to hire you as a teller
Being a descipine to some artisan and getting real skills costs less. Why don't brainlets do this?
thats normal
Well, pretty sure his former boss wasn't a secretary, maybe you should read or think before you post
try not being a retard with money
Because they fell to the meme that you need a degree. Same things happen here, only in Poland the meme major is "management".
>you will mostly look at databases, big data, organisations, etc. Or look after documents and laws for the stat
thats what statistic is for though
I made little research long ago and librarians needing a masters is an strategy from old librarians to dissuade people from taking away our jerbs, plus keeping the profession obscure so it won't collapse.
>>you need a degree to be a secretary
And certificates to be a cleaner are now also asked for more and more. "Have you been educated to be a cleaner?" No? Bye.
statistics is the job, like an actuary who does the math
think dutch was saying the librarian is the one to go find the stats in some random journal
Cities no not usually.. Provincial, some are, some are not. State? Hell yeah.
kb.nl
>25 year old
>no degree
>learned most basic welding at 20
>took every opportunity i could to assist on all the jobs
>EVEN WELDED FOR FREE if it meant seeing new welding methods
>now i can weld boats
>i can weld underwater without electrocuting myself
>i can weld oil pipes
>>>got half a million dollar contract last year, 4 months of work
>worked as a weld inspector
>worked as a weld instructor
>have a legit reputation with high profile welds
>>>I AM HIRING COLLEGE EDUCATED PEOPLE
>read books about welding methods and theory
>expanded business so that i can work on almost any kind of metal you need
>seen the world by welding
>businesses know: if you need quality welders, you want someone from my firm
train yards, ship yards, pipe companies, vehicle repair, bridge people, sky scrapers, fences, gates....
cheapest co2/mig/tig equipment costs like 200$ on ebay
it wont be good enough for 10% of the jobs, but it will be perfectly fine for you to get started, underpay yourself, work for free even, just MAKE SURE YOUR WELDS ARE PERFECT and you will have that phone ringing again and again and again
Would protect/10
Archival and organising it. Finding documentation in heaps of junk. No to few numbers.
Numerical analysis is statistics. Statistics for economy is econometrics for the most part, insurance companies grab these up where they can.
lo a this guy, being working class slave and proud
I'm proud of you, good job with being successful. College is not mandatory
>*you seem to be doing good without a degree, I actually know a lot of people who work as plumbers or shit like that and they make a lot more than engineers.
Not everyone needs a degree
because i will be a millionaire (in euros) before i hit 30
in a country where people dont have more than 100.000 cash (in euros) in their lifetimes
average pay here is ~500 euros a month and i can make ~50.000 euros a month on a busy month in profit, after i cover the costs such as materials, workers etc
i am literally expanding the numbers of my very own personal cars, employees, countries where i am a successful business known for higher than average quality, etc
Can I move to Chile and become a librarian?
>50 dollars a month
Haha poorfag
Remember to hide some money/assets so in the worst case scenario you wont lose everything.
Put a few properties under your parent's name, etc
Proofs?
Yes and no, I would not recommend it because why would you ditch your life in the US
im an old fashioned kind of paranoid person so ive put into the ground some oil drums and some pure gold
i also have tiny bits of money on shanghai stock exchange since chinese grow like mad and ive been there for 3 years and my money only increased so far overall in those 3 years
income tax in serbia is only 10% too so i am basically abusing tax haven type of situation which also allows me to be significantly cheaper than the western europe for the same services
im only 25 but i already just oversee and do quality control and negotiate jobs, i rarely even have to do any work unless it has to be extremely high quality like some boats or some pipe jobs must be
Bitch what the fuck is fine arts
Maybe she can be a qt teacher at a school
>obliging the college Jew
no thanks
>arts degree
I agree most of these "arts" degrees are worthless, but if they are, why do they exist? Shouldn't these kids be taught in school about what trades are worth pursuing and which ones are a waste of time? Shouldn't the government be creating incentives to get young people into jobs that actually helps the economy? Or do (((they))) see some benefit in putting people into a cycle of poverty and debt?
>gets a degree in fine arts
>wastes the paper to complain
Apparently she didn't learn anything.
>be child
>have parents provide for you
>think economy works on rainbows, happy thoughts, and hobbies
>>>sign up for "arts"
they dont understand they dont need a formal education to draw, like there's no licence for art, just go and fucking draw who cares
>tfw unironically getting a lib arts degree
Even with no debt I still feel like shit.
there's no licence to do art
its not like someone's gonna put a trillion dollars into a bridge so you are supposed to know your shit or people are gonna die and trillions will be wasted
formal education in arts seems utterly pointless, and fast food employers will probably assume you have a low intellect
