Since you're from maine can u pls answer a few questions i've had about the it ?
1) Why are Maine, Vermont and New Hampshire blue states ? I kinda understand U.S voting patterns so i find it weird that states with no big cities and 90% wypipo vote Democratic.
2) What happens in northern Maine ? Is it just a huge forest with almost nobody living there ? Are there any hippies, methheads or other shit like that ?

I don't know why NH is blue but Vermont and Maine both have the majority of their populations concentrated around Burlington and Portland. Both cities are super hippy and filled with people moving in from other blue states.
Northern Maine is basically as you say. Scattered farms and timber forests with small communities full of conservatives.
