east germany had pretty good general education actually (as did the soviets). the big difference now is because the east is still shittier than the west to live, so immigrants don't live there.

we are genetically slightly higher IQ than avg. euro, and that is the only reason for our relative success, there is nothing special about our schooling system and the scores will keep falling as we get more low IQ niggers here

Nordics have contributed a lot when you adjust for population. It's not a surprise that a country of 5 million would contribute less than a country of 320 million. Still, a lot of Finnish inventions are in constant use all over the world, such as Linux kernel and text messaging (SMS).

We have nickel, some other metals and the largest deposit of lithium in Europe. The lithium was sold to Norwegians for peanuts as I recall.
