My family is typical Polish family.

Some stories that i remember:

During BBQ my uncle said that Hitler was right only about one thing : killing jews. I was a liberal kid back then brainwashed by philosemitic propaganda so i tried to oppose. Then my aunt said : "stop defending them, they care only about money, they are evil". My father always used to call "jews" all Poles whom he disliked, f.e. owner of local shop who - according to him - demanded too high prices for products or Polish politicians whom my daddy hated: he called them all "jews" too. My mommy looks a bit like a jewess because of her black hair, eyes and big semitic nose. And when my daddy was badmouthing jews, she was always like : "... b-but they are human too".

Once my daddy said to me while watching news about Germany : "remember that every szkop (Polish insult for a German) is your natural born enemy"

My daddy was also refering to Russians/Ukrainians/Belarusians as "kacapy". He always used term "glupie ruskie" (stupid russians) when he talked about our eastern neighbours. He was saying it without hatred but with feeling of superiority. He always perceived Russians as idiots who live in poverty because they are too focused on their dumb psychotic ideas and doctrines instead of hard work

they are not racist, just in a banter way sometimes, and maybe agains some nativeamericans minority groups but its more because of their culture than their race.

Yakutia have about equal russian and yakut population, got there centuries ago and displaced native population (they are still there, but mostly speak yakutian)

Mom strongly dislikes blacks, saying they talk too loudly, cause crime, and smell bad. Supports deporting all Muslims for being potential terrorists and scolded me when I bought food from a Muslim food truck. Calls Mexicans unhygienic though hard-working. Thinks Japanese are backstabbing emotionless robots. Highly admires ancient China but sees modern Chinese, especially uneducated ones, as barbarians.

Dad doesn't talk about politics much but seems to agree with her. Both of them suspect even leftist whites of being crypto-racists and warns me to never live in a place with too many of them.

So a typical Korean family in America. Both my parents identifies as neither conservative or liberal, though they like President Moon.
