Company named Entis was given 200 000 euros to develop their insect foods.

They are trying now to find markets for their cricket chocolates and cricket-smoothie and to develop some new insect foods in addition to these.

All funderers were from Turku:
Aboan Advest, Aura Funding, The Hole Ventures, Sofokus Push were those giving the funds.

I'm all for more insect-based foods in the west, but why does the Finnish taxpayer need to subsidize it?

That's what our gubberment does, handing out money to everyone, especially foreign companies which services regular taxpayer also pays for.
Its nothing but laundering taxpayer money out of this country.

so how do I open my insect-food company in Binlan?

Lots of insects here in HuEland.

Be white, deal with HEAVY bureaucracy.

I just want gibs...

This is extremely Mexican. Or southwest US. It's a total meme to eat things/drink things with bugs in them there.

yeah I know of this Mexican larva alcohol bottle

I'll eat some fucking insects.

They put it in Candies and stuff too. It's just a gimmick really.

>WHAT THE BUG?
>DASDY AS BUG!
>BUG YEAH!

fuuuuck i want chocolate and pizza now

We're officially SE Asian now
Bring on the Thai mail order brides now that we've got foodies for 'em

Nice, im not gonna buy that shit, ever.

you no rike? we rike vely much
*catches fly with tongue*

I'd buy ths, but I'm afraid it's going to be expensive as fuck

I have allways been curious about eating insects but soyboys getting all exited about it too and our media making it a fashion thing ruined that for me. Finns have developed some fancy computer controlled incubator which probably is the reason for that. Maybe I try to grow my own crickets and maggots some day instead.

They don't even peel the exoskeleton off?

They are eaten whole. They say that the exoskeleton is nutrient rich, but I'm not sure how well the minerals will absorb to human use since they are attached to the chitin.

(((Elites))) have been pushing this for a while. They want us all to eat bugs. Why? Because it's a cheap protein source.
Where they want to take us is a place where we can't afford to eat meat anymore and they don't want us to rise up and kill them when we start to realize how poor we have become.

Here is a 2013 doco:
bbc.co.uk/programmes/p01599yk

I watched this doco and it doesn't just say "This is something we should good Africans on because they are breeding like bunnies."
It suggests that British people need to start doing it in spite of the fact a declining birth rate should decrease demand for meat and make it cheaper.

Here is a 2011 story about the EU encouraging insect eating:

The EU one is not isolated you will find updates about that over years.

Fuck Finland!

They should just put a bunch in a blender and turn into goo and sell it as "minced meat from insects" or something, it would be less disgusting

You lasist

You know how when you get fries from McDonalds some of them are thin little crunchy slivers that don't taste much like anything?
Imagine that but sort of a grass flavour. That is what a fried cricket is like.

Privilege + power

Enjoy your cockroach dinner.

Not talking about the taste, but you can see its head and everything and feel its little legs on your tongue. Not very appetizing

You can and rarely the antennae get caught in your teeth. They're kind of fun to eat, though. If I could get a bag of them cheap I would buy it.
