Holding 200 NEO since ANS, its been my best performer and the ~4% gas income is nice.

I bought fucking GAS at 38 because I thought I was clever and one step ahead. Buying GAS which is literal fuel of NEO network seemed like a good deal once people start to use this but after the crash I was so in the red it was painful to watch. Even now I'm in red. It hurts, it hurts so much.

NEO has more or less abandoned development of all tech that the whitepaper puts forward as basic to their Smart Economy. No work on atomic swaps(NeoX). IDs (NeoID) are now being done by Ontology and back-ported to NEO as a non-independent module. No work on file storage(NeoFS).

I half expect them to swap out the cryptography algo for a lattice-based one and claim that quantum resistance (NeoQS) is done and that this copy-paste means they've made good on a year of development. It'll be their big Summer 2018 tech update.

This shit is a bad joke. Every single tech update has been around making sure they are more easily tradeable through exchanges and usable as a fund-raising platform. Fund-raising platform isn't supposed to be their core functionality because other platforms are better for it.

I'm tracking exchange rates between NEO and other projects. When they get good enough, I'm diversifying my stack a bit to break the psychological attachment I built to the project holding since ANS. I'd recommend weening off a bit at a time if you have a sentimental attachment to the coin like I do.

I've also checked the CoZ git and the proposals are the same, so it's not like it's happening there.

I suspect that the actual code is developed then pushed to git. I get the impression that Eric Zhang is a one man team and that he follows dated development practices (I do too). He passes his work to the community and they hammer out unit tests and do commits. So, if this is the case, it would explain the sluggish code commits as Eric has been touring with Da Hongfei a lot lately.
