I work seasonally at this company that does mold jobs, and our standards our pretty shoddy. Sometimes the respirator filters we wear aren't rated for the environment, sometimes we track dirt from rooms with mold in it to other parts of the house etc. We STILL don't touch asbestos. But to paint a picture of the type of company that does.

I'm not sure old timey miners in Finnish backwater had access to tobacco, but who knows.
