Thotposting is a cancerous plague that infects Jow Forums and many other boards as well. It's a /b/-tier choice of OP image that's only purpose is clickbait. It lowers the overall quality level of any board where it's not moderated.
Jow Forums attempts to self-moderate by shitting up threads who thotpost, e.g. "BRAAAAAP", "I WANT MILKIES", "HOW MANY LINKIES FOR A STINKIE LIKE THAT", etc. which is an effective way to discourage this hideous thotposting: except moderators on Jow Forums actually BAN people for posting things like that.
So not only are the moderators doing absolutely nothing about these blatant thotposters, the very people attempting to make the board a better place are the ones getting punished. Jow Forums was never a really serious board to begin with, but these /soc/ and /b/-tier threads need to seriously stop.
