Are there any new crypto projects with actually good fundamentals? By that I mean: >new or superior tech >coin or token has a purpose (is needed for the system to work) >potential for real world applicatoin (it improves something in the real world) >demand from real world application alone would be enough to justify a significantly higher market cap than currently
I also do not care for: >partnerships with X (they all turn out to be fake and irrelevant anyway) >its about to be added to exchange Y soon >SJW crap (e.g its gonna make the internet more enviroment friendly, more democratic, more feminist) >solid dev team
I have some new money I want to invest in a new project and so far every new coin shilled here on Jow Forums is complete vaporwave.
Because source code is open and can easily be copied, no coins have 'superior tech' that couldn't be taken by other projects. What really matters is adoption (is this coin being used by people now and what's the perspective for adoption in the future?).
LoMoCoin/LoMoStar, already has 500k users (a lot of chinks though). Stil llow cap but has already a good product and OTC +fiat inside the app (other shit too). They will announce a big partnership tomorrow but they keepin it on the low. Thank me later

Uninronically Holo (HOT) > Actual groundbreaking technology, it's been dubbed as Blockchain 4.0 but it's different enough from blockchain to start its own tech ecosystem to be fair. Read the greenpaper and the technical whitepaper (although it's a handful) >Holofuel (the currency of the ecosystem) is a central part of Holochain, and it's one of the best thought out currency (the founders of Holo are currency experts, and have been theorizing this kind of currency since 2008-2009). Read the currency whitepaper. > It's basically the first distributed internet, agent-centric and not data-centric, it can also act as a dApp platform, as a hosting service, and Holofuel will be albe to act as a currency and a store of value as well as being a utility token within the ecosystem. > Since the technology is so different from blockchain, it's quite hard to grasp yet how mcuh more efficient it will be but early testing has showed that since it doesn't require consensus, unlike past protocols, there is virtually no bottleneck and the performance is between 10000x and 1MMx better than that of Ethereum (but we won't know until testing in real life conditions is done).
Here's the whitepapers link, if you're interested, buckle up because it's a deep dive into what might be the future : holo.host/whitepapers/

Just to finish my shameless shill : if you're skeptical (and I was as well), check the github : github.com/holochain/holochain-proto It's not vaporware.

Lol btw, Ethos pumping now and has a similar product but is aiming less high. Remember guys China apps with crappy marketing > Ethos like retarded branding 15 miLl cap vs 350 mill cap (with no product) LOL

Its not really new anymore, but it has all the fundamentals.
CoffeeCoin COF on the WAVES Blockchain currently not on CMC, the coffecoin CFC is a dead project which CMC refuses to delete
>>new or superior tech Tech wise nothing special, a Token on the WAVES network. Today was an announcement that COF can be used to pay transaction fees so there is no need to have WAVES in the wallet to pay the fee (like Gas on ETH network) Which means a wallet can function purely with COF.
>>coin or token has a purpose (is needed for the system to work) Buy green or roasted been directly from the farmer/roaster. No middle man involved. Roasted an delivered, as fresh as possible. It is already in use with a small beta test roast batch. thaicoffee.io A 3rd party app, turtlebeans, has integrated COF as first listed payment method. App went live last week, currently they are bugfixing and implementing europe region for payment/delivery.
>>potential for real world applicatoin (it improves something in the real world) You pay the farmer directly. The coffee isn't sitting in a warehouse for weeks. You can choose the sort of coffee you want.
>>demand from real world application alone would be enough to justify a significantly higher market cap than currently 36 million COF circulating supply 0.0086$ / COF at the moment 310k market cap Hell yes there is room for massive gains.
The lead dev is known in the coffee circle and already delivered a working product. 10/10 love my coffee and $ gains.
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anchoring All that matters is how much more you think it can go up, but that's something you only can figure out. It's the first project in crypto that makes me truly excited and not just as an investor, so i'm a bit biased, but as an investor, yeah to me this is heading extremely up.
I'm pretty active in the telegram channel from Holo and a lot of people doing their first crypto purchase contacted me to help them buy holo, it's the first time this happens to me, it shows that this is something that has appeal both inside crypto (as an improvement on existing technology), and outside crypto (a distributed internet where you own your own data, which is particularly important right now with all the controversy on facebook etc)
Probably coins like COSS and KCS. They don't "do" anything from a technology standpoint, but they operate like dividend-paying shares for currently profitable companies with products.

I remember that there was the rumor that Starbucks would allow the use of XRP for their coffe. Nothing happened so far. I also do not see the point in creating money that has no unversal use:
Julian Garcia
Looks like a memecoin >what is it doing?
Wyatt Morales
No its easily got another x10 in it
John Reed
Not sure if you’ve heard of it but check out Chainlink. Little project that rarely gets mentioned around here.

Starbucks? XRP? wut?
COF is for special grade coffee, consumers buy for home brewed coffee. They don't aim at such unrealistic goals. The founder is strictly against stupid hype and false promises.

How do you decide which coin?

you are describing COSS. All the fundamentals are there and with an api in the next couple of months it'll increase drastically
ENG only if smart contracts have massive adoption, ETH, XMR and some forks of it. The rest is useless or have no real purpose or real world applications.
NEM >old boy crypto, i want new tech NEM is launching it's C++ rewrite of the platform "Catapult" in the coming months. Mijiin (the private chain of NEM has already rolled out it's catapult beta with success).
>why NEM Ease of use and security. The only hack ever related to NEM in any way was exchange security, not the platform. Compared to ETH? It's bulletproof.

Pssst user... Read up on Relex. Already functioning platform for investment to side step all the bullshit that needs to happen for money to change hands in real estate, no joke you could use it right now if you were inclined.
Currently working towards FINRA approval for crowd funding for real estate.

BNT works but I'd wait. LTC? Greatest returns for the least risk, but it's a long play. DXT download the app and see how it works. But userbase nonexistent. DESU I'd stay in BTC, ETH, LTC only b/c I feel more comfortable buying 200k of something that has market maturity than something new. That is the same logic institutional investors will use this coming Q3-Q4 as Wall St begin entering with those massive buy orders.
