Which wallet is better? ledger or trezor?
none, only self made wallet is truly safe, never trust 3rd parties
as in a paper wallet?
>trusting third party (((open source))) gook wallets with your portfolios
i'd rather leave it on the exchanges tbqh desu
They're both fine I have a trezor. Only reason I want a ledger is QTUM support.
right on, i was curious but you guys make some good points.. thanks
Offline paper wallets for long term storage. Short term use MetaMask for ERC20 and ETH. Desktop wallets like Jaxx and Exodus aren't too bad. It's keeping your private keys ALWAYS secure. The ledger gets better feedback from what I've seen
Have both, Trezor, even though it holds less coins, its open source. I prefer the passphase option on the trezor on the ledger its numbers only. buy both.
the HW are air gapped by nature, even a printer will have a memory of the print for a while even if you live boot linux.
$200 lol. Why not just buy a cheapo laptop, put in a new hard drive and run Linux and only use it for a wallet?
do NOT buy these on Amazon. You'll pay more and SIGNIFICANTLY increase the risk of buying a tampered-with device.
>what is a secure element
>i will hide this laptop so no one can find it
>what is hardware enabled security
Spoken like a true shill. You can encrypt hard drives and there's no advantages over a dedicated hardware like the ledger unless you like spending a lot of money for limited capabilities
>$84 is a lot of money
shoo shoo pajeet
but unless you manufacture the HW wallet yourself you can never be sure
saleemrashid.com
as you can see, distribution chain/rogue employee attack was possible for quite some time, who knows what else will come, no such risk with a paper wallet
Bizfolios are usually sub $1000, so they wont spend 10% of it on the wallet
>gen a boat load of private keys in an airgap
>encrypt the keys into a gpg message
>make a billion copies of the message including online
>make a million copies of your gpg private keys
>even if private keys compromised still require a password
>never worry about redundancy or security again
As for spending, yeah HW are okay. I'll just take the risk on my mobile or desktop hot wallets.
Buying a laptop costs more, wtf is your point dumb ass?
maybe if colx moons ill buy both for sure
hmm good to know lad
lol
They are both backdoored LOL
No they aren’t.
Yes they are moron
>amazon.com
don't tell him guys
for eth ledger
anything else trezor
