I had a long hard thought in the shower today, and found it shocking that Ireland was an independent country like very much like Spain and France, with its own language and culture. Now days everybody just assumes that they are English with a funny accent. It is at that moment I felt pity for the Irish, and swore vengeance against the British savages.

I wished the same happened with Korea just for funsies. Japan subjugating Korea much longer and eventually Koreans just speak Japanese with a funny accent. And even if their independent, lack of interest in Korean being comparable to irish people being tooo ehhh into learning Irish means they cant get rid of a language forced on them.
